This is what I wanted so badly!!! For those reasons too but I can’t find any itip hair that matches my curly texture. In some parts it’s kinky in others it’s “wavy” and then it goes to a weird diagonal sorta kinky curl and 😭 I wanted these soo badly.
Adrian Romero after doing tons of research, I thought the same thing! After being lost for so many years, I didn’t hunk I could but I now I know how! Thank you! :)
You could if you leave hair out in the middle. If you get this done you can tell your hairstylist that you want that hairstyle and she’ll purposely leave hair out in the middle to cover the iTIps.
Taka Hendry-Hudson it would be best to go to hair school as this style can cause breakage I’d done incorrectly and without proper licensing, someone can sue for malpractice.
@@moreafterthistime I'm coming across all of my Sandy Springs and Buckgead sistas my work and home commune back in the seventies when I was representing sisterhood
This technique was popular in the early 90’s but something predominantly for straighter hair textures. I personally as a cosmetologist recommend that you have at least 10 inches of hair .It honestly blends better on straighter hair textures unless you use more textured weave. Also be careful using combs because you can snatch your hair straight out from the follicle by mistake.
I agree. it's not a protective style. And the hair beneath the bond area can dry out, split, rub up against the extension hair and get damaged from the friction. And then you have to constantly straighten it. I'm not even a fan of leavout and I always recommend closures to my clients.
This was also low key popular in the 60s and 70s maybe even earlier. My Dad always did my weaves braid-less and undetectable. Seeing as though he went to cosmology school in the 70s, the process has at least some time stamp🤣 They keep bringing things back like it's new🤔 But I guess that's life🤣
I wore them. I found them very damaging, you have to straighten out your root And the hair under the tip, of you don't, it looks puffy. I would rather a braid less sew in, less constant heat on your hair
You're beautiful and that hair color suits you. Black girls can wear blond. Interested in getting it done but not sure if beauticians do it in my area. I like the way you talk. Thanks for sharing.
@@FerrariCruz girl don’t worry about what these ppl are commenting. I live in Kentucky and I’ve only seen them on white girls, black girls are now getting into them.
Omg I had them done before a trip to guam🤦🏽♀️ My hair was way to thick and I kept going into the ocean, I’m thankful they were able to get them out. My hair was so dready at the roots!
So happy for you, but given the amount of time and money I-tips seem to require, I’m thinking it would be much easier for me to get a really great custom wig made.
Can You Stop Saying Black Girls! 🙄LIKE YOUR LATE WE BEEN KNEW ABOUT THESE THEYVE BEEN AROUND FOR YEARS!! You just didn’t everyone is not the same so maybe they don’t want this!
Even If the hair isn’t growing from my scalp and laying on a counter, it’s still my hair cause I paid for it lol.
LaDonna2007 😂👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Say it for the ppl in the back!!!!
Yes ma'am! It's your hair. You paid for it period!
Amen 😂
a tip : you can watch series on flixzone. Been using them for watching loads of movies these days.
Best blonde ever 👀👀👀🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾💓

Adrian Romero where do you learn to make your own
Very well spoken very informative and you are absolutely beautiful 😊
How long can u keep these in ur hair?
does it grow your hair ?
How did you get your natural hair that color
Can you do two French braids?
Takeria Griffin no because you would see the micro links in the back.
You could if you leave hair out in the middle. If you get this done you can tell your hairstylist that you want that hairstyle and she’ll purposely leave hair out in the middle to cover the iTIps.
Gorg❤️
I was trying to get these extensions and the stylist says I could just dye the hair at home instead of just putting in black extensions. Hmmm 🧐
Did you find a new vendor?
Great awesome color.
Have you ever had an allergic reaction to the micro links
Thank you for this video!!
Do they have certification programs just to do i tips or would I need to go to hair school?
Taka Hendry-Hudson it would be best to go to hair school as this style can cause breakage I’d done incorrectly and without proper licensing, someone can sue for malpractice.
zicalya carter okay thanks I started cosmetology school back in August 2019... 💜🙏
Taka Hendry-Hudson AWESOME to hear, you’ll be done in no time! Take advantage of every in school cert you can get doll✨

I remember Raven Symone mentioning that Lindsay Lohan put her on to keratin I tip extensions and she wore those for a couple of years
I'm literally looking for those now
Awww that’s neat but being in college I def don’t have $550 to spend on that 😒. Looks pretty tho🙃
Right! that's a lot for hair, you can reuse it though.
Dante Velasquez yes
You can buy some offline Way cheaper
But people buy tracks for that much and more
Didn’t say they didn’t but if you don’t wanna pay that much there is cheaper
YOU ARE FREAKING BEAUTIFUL!
your hair colour is perfect, this is exactly what I want

All my friends of all ethnicities get these
Thxs for the tip because im going to do someone's hair like this...
I wore them. I found them very damaging, you have to straighten out your root And the hair under the tip, of you don't, it looks puffy. I would rather a braid less sew in, less constant heat on your hair
I wore itips in an afro curly texture and since I didnt have have to straighten my hair it was not damaging
Are these different from microlinks
@@jeanett8416 How long could you wear the i-tips? Is this the same as keratin tips?
black girls? you mean sistah's??
FYI: it's yours.
You have the receipt for it.
Why are you so pretty... i'm going to get i tips and then be disappointed when I don't look like you 😂
Ok, but. Why are you soooooo beautiful 😮😍
Omg finally!!!! I’ve been wanting these for years but could never find a good review on youtube😭🙌🏾 Thank you!!
Had them before and I'm natural
Details..did you like them what happened?
How many bundles is 200 grams?
Love ur video thank u
I’d rather have my natural hair texture because straight hair isn’t ever going to last with my texture.
Honey you are fabulous giving me boss rich bish vibes 😍
Any suggestions on where I can find a more curly extension hair?
Bohoexoticstudio
Do you have a relaxer? Do they work or blend better with relaxed hair?
What is the color or #color you are wearing in this video in the ITips?

Happy New Year! 🙏
Super cute, this color is so perfect on you
I love my itips. Had them install two weeks ago 😊
Stop saying black girls don’t know about wearing tips. We know about them but it’s about personal preferences , only. So stop 🛑
This video is SOOOO old and BACK THEN, they didn't. I've been a licensed cosmetologist since 2001, I should know. Thanks

Yes I-Tip Hair Extensions are easy to maintain.
You should try the Mermaid hair by Katie I use that for clients or the Bellami hair love them both
How do I shop for the hair on mermaid hair by Katie? It keeps asking for the passcode
Any update you can share with us? How did your hair look when you removed the tips?

What hair did you purchase?
Now they have I-tips for our hair textures.
I have to wash my hair everyday. I’m Asian and can’t stand even a little grease on scalp
Do you know of they have natural kinky itps
BooBye23 mahariraw.com/ has kinky.
Love it girl!! Keep shining with all that hair!!!
Gorgeous color
Do you have every line or hair out in between?
I miss you ok
What’s the difference between itips & microlinks
microlinks are the tools used to attach the itip to your hair. there are difference shapes too: i tips, v tips, and u tips
Felicie Tsogbe oh okay! Thanks 💕
I tips use an adhesive of some type...micro links are a metal cylinder lined with silicone or some type of cushion to protect the hair
Ikea Dumarria you’re thinking about fusion or tape. I-tip hair does not use glue. The microlinks is what attaches to the hair with the I-tip.
How many grams are 7-8 packages?
So how do you take them out? Will you loose hair?
Hey what color did you use when you ordered the itips??
where did you get your hair done at
love the hair. where did you buy your bundles?
U are so cute and tiny
You really love YOUR hair! Thanks for sharing.

Where is your salon?
Your so gorgeous 😻😻😻
After the tips are removed, can you use them again for another installation??
And you look beautiful!!
Yes you can use them up to 3 times the most but depends on how well you take care of your hair.
