Your hair is so pretty! Seems like you’ve accustomed to maintaining it but my question is why? Why the high price tho? It’s about half the time as a sew-in but cost more…we shouldn’t do that to our people
Great Review!! I am a microlinks specialist and the number one thing I recommend my natural hair texture clients is to have a really close hair extension texture that matches their own natural hair not only for better blend but also to reduce the use of heat so often.
I’ve recently tried this style and I will say it’s definitely not for people who go to the gym and sweat. I’ve had to use heat almost daily which doesn’t work for my particular needs. I will try doing the natural install to see if that works better for me. Your hair is beautiful by the way.
That’s ignorant. Not everyone has hundreds of dollars for a style we can do for a fraction of the price. I’ve been doing my hair since I was 12 and you can imagine I’ve gotten amazing at it and how much money I’ve saved my parents and myself. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with DIYing. Practice makes perfect and no one can execute your vision better than you can.
Omg I'm so impressed with that stylist amazing beautiful your hair 😍I'm Glad to see that clean work in your hair cause I use to work with another stylist in my area and just I see dirty hair work
Chi has a spray called reversion it keeps the hair from getting nappy or you can also do protein amino acid treatment which is blow dried into your hair to prevent it from reverting this lasts 6-8 weeks think of it as a Brazilian blow out minus the chemical
Do you recommend a person that works out hard getting this style? I’m afraid my natural hair being exposed would poof up under the weave. It will be my first time trying weave so I’m trying to find the best method for me.
I’m glad you were honest and upfront about everything. I’ve been seeing this and I think I want to try it out. I don’t mind heat at all. This video was very helpful. Thank you ☺️
My adhd must've kicked in cause I'm so confused so is we said this is best on natural hair but why is it considered a protective style? My 2nd question you attach the micro link to your own hair, but then we had a track on top of that? I'm so confused what was the point of adding the links then? And last did you experience any breakage or weakening of the hair from doing micro links?
I’m watching and I’m like this look like Burnetta’s hair salon!!! Sure enough it is!!! Your hair looks soooo good. I agree, B is the best in the city hands down. Im so looking forward to getting microlinks next month.
@@DJRenee just make sure you have a way to maintenance your hair or someone who can remove it I feel bad for people who travel far to get this service because so much is not known on how to take care of it or remove it
Ash Smith All of my hair was left out for the individual micro links. The areas in my hair that didn’t have the micro links were my perimeter and the middle part so my hair could cover the links when I did two braids. There isn’t a weft.
You will need I-tip bundles, not regular wefts. Hope you didn’t get bundles because she answered your question incorrectly. If you did get bundles, you would be able to get just a braidless sew-in.
Menique3000 no, you can use regular bundles and put the itips on them to use them as micro links. That’s prob a why she said regular bundles to her question
I’m natural! I don’t use heat . Did it affect your curl pattern? I’m coming from a hair cut ! I was wonder how long should my hair be if I want style like this !!!! Thank you for your time !!!!!
My curl pattern seems slightly looser after being washed, but not damaged. I’ll be able to tell for sure once I remove the microlinks and do a good deep condition. I think that as long as you have enough hair to cover the top of a track you should be fine. No problem!
I really like this stule and due to no tension, could invest in this in the summer once my hair grows out. I like the curliness of the roller set. It's the perfect length. It does look very natural. I even like the way it looked after a week because it still looks pretty and natural. This is Africa! Put that pomade stick and hard brush on that kitchen. I am a sub teacher and was talking to my 3rd grade class exactly like that at the end of yesterday. Working long hours can get to you. Lol
“Over here we got some africa” is really offensive. generalizing a whole continent based on “YOUR’ hair texture is wrong. just something to think about next time
Love the extensions!! I would definitely love to see you do a review of Straight Silk Spray Heat Protectant by JuniorLabs. It makes my hair silky smooth ❤️❤️👌
I do it with my own hair it’s pretty easy and quick I’ve never used micro links but I have done the braidless sew in rubber band technique. From the review of this video mine feel and look the same way but I will definitely try micro links, next week. I would say it does last about a week and then your hair frizz up eventually or is due for a wash it definitely takes maintenance and you have to keep up with washes or your hair will break and fall out and me well I’m lazy sometimes especially now that I will be having a newborn in 3 weeks does anyone know anyone In NY that does this. I went to cosmetology school and a bit experienced with hair so I do my own but now I’m ready to put that responsibility on a professional because I won’t be so free anymore.
Can anyone recommend a good stylist who can do this in the Austin or San Antonio, Texas area? Heck, Dallas or Houston for that matter, just want to find someone who is doing phone consults at least now. Thank you!
First, let me start by saying you're gorgeous, you look like you're 19,20, or 21 ? lol ! but this is a lovely method. I'm natural and i'm not a fan of applying too much head on my head because I experienced horrible head damage in the past so I just do the regular minimal leave-out. This style looks amazing on you !

How is your hair protected when it's constantly getting flat iron

In your professional opion what is a round-a-bout price range we should expect to pay for these?
@@ShnikR1986 that's a good question! I would like to know as well

Can we grow our hair with micro links?
What length are your links?
Can you swim with this? How do you fix your hair to look nice afterwards?

Thank you I needed to hear this :)
Omg look up “save your doo” headband I love it
Try it with kinky curly, coily type hair.
That’s because you didn’t get extensions that matched your hair type
Keke Baby false, I did. It’s just I sweat like most people in the heat lol this style is for people that don’t sweat.
I would love for you to do maintenance videos that span a whole month.
I’m happy you said don’t diy it. Lmaoo u know girls be tryna diy everything
You know it cause some of us cant afford the real, real🥰🥰🥰🥰

@@tesstickles1023 Well said sis and good for you for learning to do your own hair at the age of 12. Bravo👏👏👏!
Fathen Brag Thank you ! ❤️
I would get micro links but the salon tried to charge me $3000 for them. I be damned if I pay $3000 for a hair style!
In nyc is $30 per line. I only needed 3 lines.

I love your micro links but you need to find weave that blends better with your natural hair for sure
Totally agree!
I agree!!!
Why can't you do your own maintenance? Does it require maintenance in a salon? Just curious...
How long are your extensions?
Have you seen any hair breakage since you’ve got microlinks?
How much was it for this style ?
Getting this done next month for my birthday
What is the name of the place that you went to? How much did it cost originally and how much is maintenance?
Okay so what happens when ur hair gets steamy or puffs up....? Or you take a shower and the steam gets to it

It looks so nice. It's better when you use your texture so less heat and tension
Do you recommend a person that works out hard getting this style? I’m afraid my natural hair being exposed would poof up under the weave. It will be my first time trying weave so I’m trying to find the best method for me.
Just get hair that’s like your hair naturally
It would’ve looked so much better and more natural (to me) had she used hair to match her texture.
Which hair was used?
I’m glad you were honest and upfront about everything. I’ve been seeing this and I think I want to try it out. I don’t mind heat at all. This video was very helpful. Thank you ☺️
Mmmmmm I want them but my hair is *really* 4c and short
Who is your stylist, details?
