I have had quite the week, catching up with my lovely friend Maria from @caciclinicnz3135 in Petone... and have booked me a cheeky facial for next Friday... best I do my #fridaysews on Thursday..
Finally the beautiful red dress has left the building and I have a most happy and pleased young lady... sent pics to her mum over in Honiara, and her dad - although was nervous about the tying bow ... was happy she was... oh and James came to see Samuel, but Samuel was at work... so was nice to catchup with James too... (you guys might remember me talking about him a whiles back)
Today I was wearing the Donny @FridayPatternCompany and a pair of my upcycled Jeans I made....
Today I mentioned talked about the amazing sale for 12 patterns from @PatternEmporium for $166 for the lot, and that is an awesome savings of about $45... come on right.... I have two of these patterns, and quite a few of different ones... so although it is like buy these and 2.5 of them are FREE... I would only have 1/2 of one free 🤣🤣

Red dress is chef's kiss perfection 💋Am teaching myself to work with horse braid hair and put in a skirt hem. I think it will add to the swishability - twirability and swishability are extremely important styling details. I want to finish this skirt for tomorrow evening. Wish me luck! I can't wait to make my new jacket... I'm tossing up on lining... I do have some gorgeous flamingo satin that would ace it... but I want nothing taken away from my beautiful linen...
Yes, the shoulder knob (for want of a better name) rolls forward, leaving a dip in my shoulder to my neck... this fabric isn't needed and pulls my clothing backwards... so need more in the back and less in the front... and given I need an FBA too... and the girls need the fabric.
