I have a 2000 saab 9-3 had it for 3 years and I love it. Even tho when I bought it had to put a lot of money in to it to fix it but its worth it. Its great to hear there's pplz out there that has saab cars and love owning them.
just went to the Saab/Volvo day at the Larz Anderson Auto Museum In Brookline MA. If your ever up in the Boston area In august you should go.. It's nice to be around so many people that aren't ragging on you for liking these cars . I mean I can take it as much as I can dish it out , but I'm out numbered a 100 to 1 usually. :)
I wish I knew about that I live in Boston never knew they had a Saab Volvo day...I’ll stay afloat when I grab me another Saab hopefully by my birthday next month

I have a saab 2010 9-5 Aero XWD v6T what kind of wheels do you guys think I should upgrade to? I was thinking maybe some: ROTIFORM CAST RSE WHEEL or a BLQ - Cast 1 Piece. What are your suggestions? I want something classy and looks nice but not too flashy. Thanks
All 9-3X were not AWD. they did come in a 2wd diesel version :) 14:48 the intake manifold is off a saab 9000 2.3 liter non turbo ^^ they are good intakes :) id love to hear what is done to that car :)
Diesels weren't offered in the US but thanks for that info, I didn't know! Also, you're correct! The owner talks more about that in the separate video I'll be uploading eventually
They didn't? you are missing out, the twin turbo diesels are good cars :) and they can get more than 50 mpg :) i never do in mine though because i have a bit to heavy right foot ^^ We did not get the 9-4 x:s here in Sweden, though some have been imported :) Really liking these videos, its fun to see how the saabscene is over there :) I think you should come to sweden and see how we do saab meets here :) especially one of saab turbo club swedens track day meets or even the saab festival that is in trollhättan every other year :)
If you really want a big saab meet its the saab festival. But the next one is in 2019. Thousands of saabs at that meet. So thats some time until that happens again. The saab turbo club meets are a few times a year :) the next one and last for the season is the 16:th of september at Anderstorp raceway. Swedens only formula 1 track :) But that is probably too close instead. Probably one of the track days next year could be a thing? :) no dates are set yet though. Do you follow "trionic seven" here on youtube? :) he did a little video from one of these trackday meets this year "my first track day" :) im also featured in the video, the shy dude "simon" is me :) the one in that video is not the most popular though. i think around 70-80 cars there. some other tracks usually get about 120 cars. and when the trackday is in conjunction with the saab festival there are way more cars.

There's certainly rare. I live in the dmv area and so far have only seen 2 NG 9-5s one aero and a 2.0. And I thought those were rare, but then I remembered that the last time I saw a 9-7x was 4 years ago. I saw a 9-2x like a month ago but that's been the first one in at least 6 month too. haha they are relatively rare even for us saab owners with a keen eye for spotting saabs :)

The old sport s saab looks like between a Datsun 240 / frs lol. I definitely remember those now when they where driving around in the days Those camaro SS are something huh?? I was thinking about trading my Abarth for one , and make my 16 mustang GT my DD Instead?🤔 I liked that exhaust on John Saab!!! WOW.
So you walked past the orange Sonett with the Inca wheels about three times without taking even one peek in the engine bay. That car is turbo'd up and because of that quite special. Bit of a pity. For the rest, nice video, keep up the good work. Greetings from Norway.

Auto Autopsy thanks for checking it out. I'm torn between going the 9-5 aero route or 9-3 sport Combi aero. I've owned a 2003 9-3 arc 6 speed and a 2001 9-5 v6 before. I prefer the looks of the 9-3 but like the build quality and smoother ride of the 9-5, plus the 9-5 is more Saaby and less GM. In a perfect world I want a 2008 9-3 Aero Sport Combi manual with the turbo x wheels like your buddy had that took the road trip to California with you. It's just a matter of finding that special perfect storm with decent miles. It's pretty rad though that you have this channel for us Saab geeks. You're doing a good job keep it up!
I have honestly thought about it, but I have no use for one. Slower than my 9-3, bigger, etc...maybe when I need s bigger car. They're certainly enticing!
Thanks for showing both my silver and black 9-4x. I was very hesitant about buying my initial 9-4x and was a true 9-3T enthusiast. Since, owning the black one and driving 130,000 miles in Los Angeles traffic I fell in love with it. Maybe its because I'm getting older. I also love my NG 9-5. I just bought my third 9-4x and am using for my business. If you are back in Los Angeles again, you can take it for a spin.
Culture differences; if they had Americans would've bought them, and the rest of us would be driving next gen 9-3/9-5s. Afterall, why is Bentley doing that SUV monster?!
