Please add a Flamenco local server install manual.

Flamenco v3 has been released, which doesn't use the Cloud at all. It all runs on your own hardware. And it's much simpler to set up & use. Check flamenco.blender.org/ for more info.

Thanks for the presentation...but I am still left with many questions.
I would love to find a way to use Flamenco in my work but it is very intimidating to try and figure out. The documentation on the website is not user friendly and it assumes advanced scripting/programming knowledge.
I would love to see a video series (or detailed web pages with pictures) that walks you through the very basics of how to set this up on a windows machine. This presentation is a good start...just needs to drill down even more and assume no prior knowledge of blender cloud, mongodb, server, client, shaman, file stores, etc...

I agree documentation on-premise install is not user friendly.

Thank you for your work on the Flamenco project! Here at the Middlebury College Animation Studio we first started looking at Flamenco about a year ago, and because we're a learning studio we decided to take your big design ideas and have students work to implement our own Render Farm based on the concepts that you laid out. As those students graduate and it comes time to update the render farm I'm considering again the possibility of using Flamenco as an eventual replacement to our homegrown solution. Most of our Worker machines are in public Mac labs where we immediately stop the render process when a user logs in. So I'm curious to see how Flamenco works in that environment. Anyways, thanks again!

I'm so confused with this. I want to try and make it work with out being online. I don't understand how to set everything up.

Is there any complete guide available about Flamenco?

Check flamenco.blender.org/ -- it's about the new Flamenco 3, which is much simpler to use.

which addon should be installed for a self hosted server? in the repo i can only find Blender Cloud which needs an online account...there used to be a "flamenco integration" but nothing in 2.82a.

Is there a manual on how to install your own flamenco server? Cause we're hesitant to use the cloud due to strict client nda's and need full control over the whole data handling.
