The only soda I drink at all (on very rare occasions) is Dr. Pepper. I tried the strawberries and cream version today, and it was amazing! Exceeded my expectations. I got mine from a 20oz bottle that was not super cold. I think things in very cold cans tend to taste metallic even when poured into a glass unless they sit for awhile. All said I will definitely be purchasing this again!!
Soda cans are lined with a plastic liner. the aluminum doesn’t touch anything on the inside even though it looks like it’s aluminum there’s a plastic liner. Pretty cool videos on TH-cam. If you look at plastic liner pop can with people decinerating the aluminum away to show the clear plastic liner pretty scary. The chemicals in the soda can taste metallic though I taste that sometimes as well!
I thought it tasted like strawberry frosting swirled in Dr Pepper. So yummy! Definitely sweet.
Not gonna lie, chose this video over others because of Gideon in the preview shot. Definitely didn’t disappoint, he looks like a very good boy. 😊 And this was a solid review! Can’t wait to try it out!

From my experience with cats, the eye thing is probably due to cold weather. But he'll be ok, I'm guessing the vet will give him some synthomycine ointment and it'll go away in a couple of days.

Interesting. I tried the diet and think there’s almost too much strawberry flavor. Very, very sweet. My all- time favorite was the diet chocolate cherry that came out for only a few months about 15 years ago.
It taste like strawberry short cake. Nothing like Dr Pepper. Way too sweet like you said. Very Dissapointed

Not sure if it's because i got bottled or not but my experience was the opposite. I was hoping it would still taste like Dr Pepper, but with a hint of strawberries & cream. I really don't taste the Dr Pepper though, its more like an intense, mostly strawberry, strawberries and cream flavor that might as well be a red soda. Very similar to Creme Savers, those strawberries and cream hard candies that used to be around.
Later edit: about half way through the bottle, the Dr pepper flavor became more apparent and the strawberries & creme more of a hint, but still strong. Not sure if its because it's no longer as cold, or if my taste buds adjusted.
I felt the same as you about the taste. To me it taste like Dr. Pepper with strawberry Nestle Quick added. It’s ok, but I prefer the original Dr. pepper taste.

i think everyone tastes a diff with food and drinks.. i tried it the other day the regular strawberries and cream dr pepper and it was like a strawberry sundae ! sweet and good! i havent tried zero sugar yet but i will soon. i think the more i drank it though it tastes like it regulared a bit but still strawberries

That’s weird I had a bottle of the normal version strawberries and cream flavor and it was overwhelmingly flavorful strong cream and strong strawberry I would not even know it’s dr pepper if you had me blindfolded I loved it

I hope this variation of Dr Pepper isn't temporary,it tastes fucking amazing like a teaspoon of strawberry ice cream mixed in every can.The reason cherry Dr pepper tastes horrible is that cherry is one of the 23 ingredients in original Dr Pepper so when you drink cherry Dr Pepper it's like double cherry and tastes like shit because it's just way too heavy on the cherry flavor.
I just tried it and I found the strawberry flavor to stick out the first time. After a few sips it starts to go away but still has a hint of strawberry to it

Tried the zero sugar one. I taste the creamy notes most prominently. Then a subtle strawberry flavor. Better than plain old Dr. Pepper? No. I think I prefer it without the creamy note
Where did you hear it was a permanent flavor for the line up?
Dr Pepper released a press release awhile back saying it was a permanent addition to their line up so people don’t need to rush out and get it.

I think the zero sugar version (the only one I can drink, as I am diabetic) is WAY too sweet, zero sugar not withstanding. I couldn't detect any of the traditional Dr. Pepper flavor, just the strawberries and cream. I bought it expecting to like it, as I am a huge Dr. Pepper Cherry Zero fan, but no.
I love Cherry Zero because it has plenty of Dr. Pepper taste with just a pleasant hint of cherry; this new flavor hits with a strawberry sledge hammer. I gave it a fair trial, too. I was fortunate enough to find someone who really likes it and was willing to buy the remaining eight cans from the 12 pack I bought for $3. Dr. Pepper Strawberries & Cream definitely misses the mark, for me. (And I remember Dr. Pepper's chocolate cherry from the late 90s, and liked it.)
