What to avoid at the Kennedy Space Center

This was a complete failure for us. Today we visited the Kennedy Space Center, and although we were all pretty excited about seeing this for the first time, we ended up with two pretty bored kids and only spent a few hours here. I'm going to share what I think I did wrong when I was planning this experience, and what I think we should have done differently. The space itself (pun intended) was incredible, with all the tall space shuttles and from the outside it was magnificent. I don't think we knew what we were doing, and I really wish I had a better plan going in. If you've done the bus tour, you will have to tell me in the comments what you thought, because it felt like we were missing something. That said, I encourage you to do the free experiences as we skipped a few things that could have made our visit better.
