- We take a ride on the "Typhoon" roller coaster at Bobbejaanland in Belgium! This was one of the first "beyond vertical drop" Eurofighter roller coasters!

I live in Belgium and i ride this coaster many times. Its simple and basic but i love this coaster very much!

Don't underestimate the first drop! It's intense as hell!
(This is the only coaster where I don't raise my hands in the air, because otherwise it would hurt my back too much)
And that turn before the last loop is intense as hell haha

Wonder why they went with the super old Schwarzkopf style loop support system. This thing was built in 2004, B&M had already been making giant vertical loops with simple supports for years at that point.
Bo Breese it was one of their first, and the company was founded from members of Schwarzkopf
@@Aatrains512 well they had built loops one year before this using a more modern support design. I wonder if the park just like the way that looked better or what
Before Typhoon was there, they had a Schwarzkopf looping star. The looping was in the exact same place as the looping from Typhoon is now. Bobbejaanland wanted to keep that support style for the looping as reference to the old looping star.

Fury is the best roller coaster in Bobbejaanland. I went last year, in September and it was really amazing. Typhoon is the second best.

If you go to a park in Utah, USA called Lagoon, there’s a ride named Cannibal that drops more than a vertical drop at 114°. It’s a very fun ride lol
