    I've watched a number of your videos and appreciate how hard you work at your business and at sharing information with all of us. I can't thank you enough for how often and emphatically you emphasize that inventory sitting at home, in storage, the garage and the basement isn't making money for you!!! I actually jumped up in the middle of this video and went outside to prep four pieces I've been putting off cleaning while waiting for inspiration to work on my stuff. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

    Thank you so much for all your videos. You’re so good at sharing helpful information. I’ve used wave app for several years for invoicing etc but have not thought of using g the app for booth / flipping business.. thanks for that tip!!
    Love the booth information most of all. I’m gonna have to make hard choices!

      Thank you for your kind words. Best of luck to you and your business in the new year. Don't be too hard on yourself...it has been a weird year for small businesses.

    Not everyone has a basement. I really am enjoying your videos. I want to go into Booth reselling and Etsy or eBay. Doing my homework. I have too much stuff and have been thrifting for years.

      You don't have to store off season. If you have a booth you can have a seasonal sale and have less to store.

    Just in case no one answered your question: Eat that Frog technique delivers an important message that says that if people wish to be successful in their lives, then they have to take immediate, and necessary actions without overthinking too much. According to Brian Tracy, Eat That Frog tactic should be implemented first thing in the morning.

    I use the stride tax app. Easy to track receipts with photos and automatically tracking my mileage. You can seperate expenses from personal and other side gigs.

    I have been a booth vendor since retiring from teaching in 1998. It's been a way to pay for my junk hobbies. This summer I was caught by the sudden notice of the mall I had been in for almost 18 years was closing and we had sixteen days over four weeks to vacate. Luckily I keep a portfolio of booth photos and sales reports. Ten minutes after hearing the news I was driving to a smaller mall a mile from my house. The owner was looking for experienced vendors who knew how to promote on social media. Over the next six weeks she carved out three spaces for me in the warehouse. No air conditioning, heat or electric. It's taken five months to eat that humongous frog but I have inched into a profit. Every booth vendor needs to stay alert because changes are going to happen. You give such common sense advice. I am sharing this to our Dealing On The River Facebook page. Merry Christmas 🎄

    Hello, just found and subscribed to your channel. I appreciate all the tips! I only recently rented a booth but I really relate to your comments on lighting. I discovered the importance very quickly. My booth doesn’t have lighting and I really struggle with making it look good. I noticed how much I’m drawn in to the booths with lighting so I’m already looking to move to one with electricity when I can. I have to admit, I never imagined this would be one the things on your list of 5 but it only reinforced my decision to move as soon as I can!

      I hope a booth with lighting opens up soon. Get daylight bulbs...largest watts you can...makes such a difference. Start to look for cool lamps, too. Best of luck!

      I understand that! I don't have electricity in mine, either. Thankfully, my booth does face some wonderfully big windows.

    I do have a question. I know you have retirement income as well as youTube. So is this something that a person can do as only income?

    • @theturnedleg
      @theturnedleg  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Everyone has to figure out how much money they need and figure out their business from there. It can be done and many are quite successful. Multiple streams of income are helpful.. booth, online sales, live sales…
