    Just discovered your wonderful series. What a pang of nostalgia I felt. I always loved Brian Flynn, being somewhat of the same height , but was able to hold his own among the bigger lads. Cheers mate. MOT.

    Underrated keeper was John Lukic . As far as I can tell he is the only keeper in the modern era say post 1960 who won the League with 2 different teams having played every game not a reserve keeper . Arsenal in 89 us in 92.

      1980/81 season was the penultimate season in the First Division before the sad relegation in the season after. 😭

    Been meaning to say that these are FANTASTIC and I love 'em! Every couple of days I look for the latest instalment, like a kid before Christmas - please give up work and your life to just concentrate on this LOL! Mind you, it'd be over too quick then - keep up the great work

    I remember most of these games. I went to Old Trafford with some Man Utd fans I knew and went on the Stretford End with them. Leeds started with just half of the scoreboard end but as a section filled up, they climbed into the next section until the end was full. Man Utd battered is for most of the game but no one cared when the winner went in.

      @@TerraNova1967 Yes. I remember the beret man in the Kop. He would climb up and stand on top of the crash barrier and conduct chants such as Celtic/Rangers, and WACCO.

    Top video bit the scoreboard end held 4500, Leeds had around 5000 max.

      Leeds had some of the side that day as they did in 79 with even bigger numbers nearly 58,000 that day, the flynn winner in 81 45,000 plus because of severe weather up north with snow.

    Leeds wearing Man.United shorts... seem to remember later in the 80s Millwall wearing Leeds shorts at Elland Road for a similar reason.
