Being caught in thought causes one to be separated from the soul via the mind and the senses.Thoughts are like clouds watch them come, and watch them go. Eventually the back and forth like a pendulum it will stop and find its still point and so will the mind. It is from this still point that you begin to reconnect back to within your soul.

Great stuff, another way I like to look at it is verbal though is very limiting. Animals and Plants use smells and colors to communicate so their thoughts might be a combination of that and sounds. We communicate on many levels that precede emotions but come after initial awareness, the range of thought is vast and isn't limited to our verbal language. There's more evidence to so our language limits our imagination as much as it helps express it. "Human thought is an infections disease"- Men In Black 1997

The unconscious mind knows itself as a living being. It does not have a temporal grasp of time. So it is said to be “eternal”. This is why when the conscious mind is still or quiet the experiences can be quite uncanny and supernatural. Not because impossible things are happening but that state of being does not limit what is possible. It’s a mind concerned with the way, not the destination. It would be better if we called it under-conscious mind. Conscious and unconscious minds are both aware. And who seems to possesses awareness? They are two simultaneous minds operating as one. Like the eyes produce one vision.

    this ignores boredom completely.
Boredom is a fundamental state, not merely a lack of stimulation but a pivotal aspect of human experience.
It acts as a connective thread between our thoughts and actions, existing in a liminal space.
It comes after the seamless flow of perception (our raw, continuous awareness of the world)
but before we consciously begin to feel emotions, form thoughts, or engage in behaviors.
In this view, boredom isn't just an absence but a foundational presence,
shaping the transition between simply perceiving
and actively engaging with the world.

The ego is not you though. As the ego can be observed.
And it's actually super easy to do, you don't need samadhi to observe it. The ego, which is the "I" thought that identifies as the body/mind complex can be seen, and if it can be seen that it is different from the observer.
Another thing, you don't have to kill the ego. You just have to know that you're not it.

The description can NEVER be the described.
It’s just our dualistic language. We have to communicate and point out that there is an “observer” to distinguish from the “observes”, our thoughts and perception.
But the mind is tricky and said, “oh, there is still an observer, where is “”this”” that they’re talking about”? 😂
You see it? That’s just ANOTHER thought.
The mind asked again “how can I experience this thoughtless, witnessless state?”
Well, you already have, at every single moment when you noticed that there are thoughts and perceptions. But the mind will come in next to generate after thoughts about it.😂

Actually being aware of your true nature makes you not suffer, even if the body is in chronic pain.
There are many recorded instances like that of Ramakrishna, when he was at the end stages of mouth cancer.
      He was still blissed out.
Same with Ramana Maharishi, where he refused anesthesia for his surgery and he didn’t even flinch.

Just ask the question - What is this truly knowing and unknowing about that which is said to be aware of this? Ask it. What do I know or unknow about that labelled as the conscious present moment? Nothing. No thought. Blank. Null. Void. This is the only true answer. A blank mind!

The more I listen to this kind of enlightenment practices, the more I think it's the same as the contradictory main stream religion preaching. The hoops you have to go through is human. We're here to be human, not a nothing, not a non participant. Yes, it's good to be aware of our spiritual origin, but just as good to fully engage while we are here.

Ego counceusness is such a small part of us. In the withess counceusses with a smal efforts fully present ego desolves, as the maya and false self.
Mind shound be Dharmatu, Karma is a sistem of belives as there s to be devolved or quench. This nothingness, Amnogosiddhi Buddha. The parabrahman.
Fully present, Aware, and Awake. Peacfull, full of love and happine ss.
As when one comes to purify the mind as
    Samadhi than to
samma-sammadhi or Maha-Samadhi. Mind is then Dhrmatu.. There are no mental nor spitial speks, nor clinging. As Sunjata, Svabkavikakaya becomes Dharmakaya as the sky Samkbokaya as Sun, and Supreme Nimankaya as the rays hiting the Erth.
Thus one gains arhanthip of inipendent origination, becomes idetical as Brahman.
Thus one becomes Samma-Samodhi and achives Budahhod.
    Than one becomes Samma-sambhassa
But there is this Nothingness, O, non abiding, withot need for quenching, absolute freedom, or parabrahmahan.
As I clerly rember past lives, and as Tathāgatā I
would like to say. You are faith. Live life but be brave from the inside. Be fully, present, aware and awake, even the moment. In all 12 or 13 janas. Om peace, love, joyfuness, happiness

Vipassana isn't a practice for the educated. Not in whole. It is designed for the common person, which, at the time the Buddha promulgated it, was people who worked with their hands all day. For that person it is perfect.
If an educated person practices this daily, consistently, they will begin to lose coherency, as they will be doing it abstractly, and not with their hands.

Seems like an assumption that fusong atman and brahman is better. We have the illusion of self\other as a consistent part of the human experience. Where's the problem in that? Why bother trying to escape the normal suffering of our nature?

    • @sidhantsharma9961

The problem comes when you start thinking of suffering as normal. There's a better way to live.

    • @HoboGardenerBen
      @HoboGardenerBen 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

@@sidhantsharma9961 Isn't it though? It's a completely normal part of the human experience. I wonder if there's a middle ground of accepting the suffering while not getting attached to it. I am suspect of philosophies that try to eliminate something so valuable, we can learn more from suffering than anything else. Maybe the way the ancients went after really is better than acceptance, I don't know, but I'm not worried about choosing to just chill out and accept the suffering. It's like the monster in a scary dream getting worse when you run from it but diminishes when faced. Suffering isn't a big deal when ypu don't fight it, just another feeling.

    • @sidhantsharma9961
      @sidhantsharma9961 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

@@HoboGardenerBen See, accepting suffering and not being attached to it comes in the realm of non-suffering.
You only feel something when you attach yourself to it.
The duality of this world will remain as long as you and others are there.
However, what I'm suggesting is not running away from suffering, but rather transcending it. The transcendence can happen when you're able to create a space between yourself and your thoughts. There are many ways of doing that.
But action is required. Otherwise we're just slaves to our senses.
