I was the 2nd one to put a like and first to comment. I must say you have the art of explaining stuff. Never understood the circuit driving the TESLA coil before, thank you for explaining and bringing safety aspects. Always watching people building Tesla coils on TH-cam and some claiming able to tune the coils to the resonant frequency of our Planet to harvest free energy! Came to your channel with the video on "Flyback Voltage and Back EMF".
This is known as the SCHUMANN RESONANCE, discovered by Winfried Otto Schumann in 1952. The frequency that results from the sum of these wave occurs at around 7.83 Hz.
Hi. thanks a lot. There are many different circuits people use to drive their tesla coils, i showed the most simple one for beginners. As for the Schumann frequency, to resonate at such low frequencies the tesla coil would have to be huge, very impractical. However, Tesla did a lot of stuff, he experimented with many different types of coils, not just the ones you see on youtube. As for harvesting energy, modern scientists dont know everything, even though they think they do :D
LC or to some extend. Volume against surface area. Usually done with coils and capacitor. Loop antenna. Widely used in crystal radio. To get a basic idea. 2 LC circuits. Can run a lcd watch. Build it with bigger coils and capacitor it might do more. Low frequency passes thru the body. Higher frequency seems to get more to surface area. Or skin.

You could measure voltage with a big potential divider, made from lots of resistors to ensure a big gap.
Nice video. I learned a lot. What are the dimensions of the primary and secondary coil? Wire gauge, height, diameter, turns, etc.
roughly, height is 26cm, diameter is 12cm, turns are about 500 ish, and wire gauge is 0.5mm
@@ElectricMonkeyBrain Thank you! I enjoy your channel.
I did not hear you mention this point- Is the coil winding configuration bifilar?
No its just normal coil.
