I've met him and he was really approachable and friendly. There were a whole bunch of people around and he took the time to have a chat with everybody. After about 10 mins or so he got in the car and 2 girls came running up yelling for him to stop and he got out and took a pic with them. They're all humans, I don't know why people think celebrities owe them a great interaction.
They aren't forced to do anything, but they need to have common courtesy. If you dont want to take the picture, politely say no. At least acknowledge the guy.
They kind of do owe their fans. They are the reason they are making a living.

I underatand both you and MGK tbh... Everyone has bad days... I've spoke with tons if people who approached him in public and he was always super chill and nice.
So I can give you two reasons for your case right off the bat:
1. You know when you see somebody and from the first glance you can't stand him (we've all been there and if that's the case... Move on mate )
2. Nobody is obliged (moreover rock/rap stars) to be nice to everyone all the time, especially if they are in that post performance stage when their energy is drained out and are quite possibly drugged out of this world like I believe this to be the case.
Even MGK himself admitted in an interview that he gets extremely drained after a performance and just wants a minute to himslef and he even explained how he can get a bit rude when bothered when he is like that.
So it's not like the man hinself didn't said it... You ofcourse are not obliged to know everything he said if you just want a picture with the guy so basically you caught him in a bad moment.
No big deal I guess, (ofcourse if you're not a primadona of a man)

Jack I feel your pain hun, a friend of mine and I got backstage passes to a Madness concert back in 1992 and similar happened to her. She approached a band member and was really nice and polite, told him her name and said how lovely it was to meet him and he just gave her this terrible ice cold stare. It was awful, she’d been a fan for so many years to have it shattered in a split second. Thankfully the other band members were lovely that we got chatting to especially Lee Thompson. Very nice guy and his wife is lovely too, very sweet and a pretty lady. So kind of been in a similar situation to you and I’m sorry for how you were made to feel. Some people are just so rude sadly. I know I’m a fair bit older than perhaps your usual audience but you’re one of the rare TH-camrs I like. Take care love, you’re doing a great job. 😘

I met you at Reading last year and you were genuinely so nice. All it takes is a quick 30 seconds and unless the person approaching you is being rude there's really no excuse for being rude back, especially when they are supporting your work. MGK is arrogant and should know that it comes with the territory. He was in the guest area at Reading, which is full of a mix of artists, press, family and friends of artists and a lot of the general public. If he didn't want to be approached he should have gone backstage, the stroppy twat.
