Number 3 is just exquisite - really reminds me of a Japanese Ukiyo-e print, like an abstraction of cherry blossoms or spring, something like that. Loving all these ghost prints!!!

I would normally never watch an hour-long video. Your content is lovely, calming, and well-documented. Thank you for sharing your extensive knowledge and patience;) I'm going to attempt to wait 5 minutes before I pull a print -- it may just be the thing that was blocking me from better prints!
Caput violet probably derives from the Latin term Caput Mortuum (literal meaning leftover dead remains) which is usually a dark purple red colour in pigments-useful for darker flesh tones.
Love the translation. Caput mortum is so much more sonorous than corpse.

I'm looking at Gelli plate recipes, looks quite straightforward. I do see why people use them, these pulls you've done here were so effective. The Amsterdam brand is very good value and a great range of colours, like the Liquitex basics the consistency is good for printing and pulling onto tissue imo. Helpful and soothing vid. Thank you.

Als je achtergebleven verf van de gell plate op wilt nemen dan kun je een transparante verf pakken en die dun (doorzichtig….zodat je de afbeelding eronder nog iets kunt zien ) opzetten zodat de verf echt inwerkt in de achtergebleven laag. Succes!

Thanks for sharing different types of paint, Fulton. I've been using Amsterdam for cost effectiveness. I like how it rolls out generally. I think it stays open a little longer than some other types of paint I've used. The turquoise is a very bossy color! 34:30
Sometimes when I have some paint left on the plate that I like, I don't add more paint, but use liquid acrylic matte medium and roll over the top with it. It creates a slightly different texture on the print, where the open areas appear to have a little bit of a stained effect, which I like.
Interesting that the Blickcrylics pick up ghosts better. I will have to try some when we are beyond freezing here in Maine.

What type of paint do you use in your squirt bottle?
I use diluted Blickcrylics but any acrylic paint will do, mixed with 2 to 3 tbsps of water.
what’s the verdicts on Amsterdam paints performance better or no different to your Soho or Blicks⁉️⁉️⁉️
Amsterdam ( cheap and wide range of colors) is somewhat in between Blick and Soho. I find Soho very richly colored, but way too glossy for my taste. Blick on the other hand is watery, but great for picking up ghosts.
