  • Dom Sigalas’s Cubase Secrets videos continue with his tips and tricks on how to create five iconic reverb sounds using the Revelation plug-in. The different types of reverb he creates include drum room, vocal plate, vocal width, vintage spring reverb for guitar and a lush, spacious reverb for synthesisers. Revelation is one of the most powerful effect plug-ins in Cubase, which will really bring your music production to life.

    You are a real ambassador for the Cubase stock plug-ins. And they sound amazing

    YES! Reverb 0 % wet - and use only Early Reflections! The ER´s in Revelation are absolutely great....

    With Cubase Revelation I have programmed a long reverb "Blackhole Clone" for Synthpads - much wider and warmer and not so synthetic. Luv it!
    It´s great to have Modulation and Early Reflections in Revelation Reverb too.

    I’ve used this plugin many times but I now feel like I know how to fully control the settings. Some of the use cases are exactly what I have been looking for. Thanks!

    the density was a game changer for me, thanks very much Dom (and Cubase team.) I've always wondered where this spikey, slightly echo-like sound has come from. Some of my favourite mixers push this grain on guitars and vocals. Amazing! cheers :)

    Thanks Dom !
    Reverb and creating the right space for all instruments/vocals is the trickiest part to me in the mixing world, I'm rarely 100% happy with what I end up doing (especially with the vocals) haha
    Do you think you could put up a series of tutorials like "Reverb in different genres" ?
    I'm especially interested in a Neo soul context similar to Hiatus Kaiyote type of sound and struggle to make the right choices on my tracks (I could provide a Cubase project of mine if you don't have in this genre), but even in general I produce a lot from jazz to metal, orchestral, funk, trip-hop, and many other so I'd be interested to have a different perspective and approach on how to make the right choices when it comes to reverb.
    Thanks anyway for annother great video !

    I personally think they are great reverbs, but....How often do you use them for client projects? I see most content creators making these type of vids but behind the scenes they mainly use 3rd party plugins.

    • @yeahthatkornel
      @yeahthatkornel 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Why wouldn't you use it for clients. Those 3rd party ones aren't that much better.
