    YES! Reverb 0 % wet - and use only Early Reflections! The ER´s in Revelation are absolutely great....

    Great, glad you explained the finer details of what I agree is a great reverb.

    With Cubase Revelation I have programmed a long reverb "Blackhole Clone" for Synthpads - much wider and warmer and not so synthetic. Luv it!
    It´s great to have Modulation and Early Reflections in Revelation Reverb too.

    Thank you Don to give us great help to say goodbye to presets only and start making our own. Really great explanation of the variables.

    Ah terrific Don. I didn’t get the balance between ER & Tail previously, or the interchangeable rooms. Thanks.

    the density was a game changer for me, thanks very much Dom (and Cubase team.) I've always wondered where this spikey, slightly echo-like sound has come from. Some of my favourite mixers push this grain on guitars and vocals. Amazing! cheers :)

    I’ve used this plugin many times but I now feel like I know how to fully control the settings. Some of the use cases are exactly what I have been looking for. Thanks!

    I personally think they are great reverbs, but....How often do you use them for client projects? I see most content creators making these type of vids but behind the scenes they mainly use 3rd party plugins.

    • @yeahthatkornel
      @yeahthatkornel ปีที่แล้ว

      Why wouldn't you use it for clients. Those 3rd party ones aren't that much better.

    Thanks Dom !
    Reverb and creating the right space for all instruments/vocals is the trickiest part to me in the mixing world, I'm rarely 100% happy with what I end up doing (especially with the vocals) haha
    Do you think you could put up a series of tutorials like "Reverb in different genres" ?
    I'm especially interested in a Neo soul context similar to Hiatus Kaiyote type of sound and struggle to make the right choices on my tracks (I could provide a Cubase project of mine if you don't have in this genre), but even in general I produce a lot from jazz to metal, orchestral, funk, trip-hop, and many other so I'd be interested to have a different perspective and approach on how to make the right choices when it comes to reverb.
    Thanks anyway for annother great video !
