    Most Interesting Con-man in Israel maybe
    1. "He can bend spoons with just the power of his mind." Shows Uri stroking a spoon to break it. Accomplished by preparing a spoon in advance, bending it back and forth at the thin part of the handle to get it almost broken. You can still tap the spoon on the table to show it's "solid." Then by rubbing and moving the spoon up and down at the spot you bent, it will eventually break.
    2. Bending a key. This is a close-up magic move called ratcheting.
    3. Making a compass needle move. Easy when you conceal a magnet on yourself.
    4. Most research done on psychics were done with shoddy controls and experimenters that have a bias, and results are exaggerated (especially by the liars who are experimented on). Simple tricks in kids magic books - like making a matchbox placed on the back of your hand stand up on edge - have fooled scientists. All of Uri's "psychic" phenomena can be accomplished by sleight-of-hand, and that's what he does. The fact that he's been doing the same schtick since the 1970s shows what an unoriginal and lazy magician he is.
    Find some other Israelite more worthy of promoting as being from there instead of a dishonest hack.

      there are phonies everywhere for sure. But he did a watch thing on tv, where he made my broken watch run , from tv. I thought yeah sure, but I followed his instructions, hold the broken watch and say work work work at the same time as he, and I was blown away. My broken watch was working. That was years ago, I just do not see how he could fake that. It was broken, it did start to run, I showed my husband in my surprise, and it stopped a little later. I tried to repeat it, to make it go again. never did

    • @chocolatestraw3971
      @chocolatestraw3971 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@robokat36 So this is an easy one. Most mechanical watches - once they're considered broken and even after being left alone for a while - will still give off a couple ticks when they and the oil inside them are warmed up before they seize up again. The holding it in your hand is what did it - not you and Uri chanting, "Work work work."
      Nice trick, but he's doing it on a TV show with a large viewing audience, and that's going to increase the number of people that this will work for so if nothing else, the people he fooled are going to talk him up to friends - or on TH-cam comments. 😉 But even better, if it's the type of show where they want people to call in with their results (I don't know if it was, but he's done it on such shows before), people like you who were impressed are much more likely to do so than people it didn't work for, and it's going to seem like a big miracle.

      I considered all of that
      But the watch was really old

      Trick? Good one cause I still remember it
      Mustve been in the 80s
      Thanks for your info

    • @chocolatestraw3971
      @chocolatestraw3971 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@robokat36 Well, all I can say is that's how it works. Doesn't matter how old the watch was, its brand, etc. I'm a magician myself so I can appreciate the impact this trick has, however I don't like that Uri has used it - as well as many other simple tricks - to promote himself as having real magical powers. That shows he has no integrity.

      except this one...I state very strongly its true..years ago, he was on tv claiming he could make a broken watch run again. In your home your broken watch. Of course, I scoffed, but I had a broken watch. He said for everyone that was watching to take their broken watch into their hands cover it and say out loud Work! Work! Work! then look at your watch. I was floored when this cheap long broken watch was working! I was shocked and ran to show my husband. He did not care but I was impressed! it quit working soon after but it DID start to work when I said it. I tired many times again it never ran again.

      @@robokat36 Confirmation bias. If a milion watches were involved... The simple moving of the watch or even temperature changes can reanimate the residu of power in the battery. @@robokat36 Often watches that have stopped working & are not running will begin to run for a while if they are moved.

    I just love the commercial. American companies trying to reduce sugar intake? What they dont tell you is that they decided what sugar substitute to use which is aspartame which has a lot of potential negative side effects. You cant buy a soda from any company run by Pepsi or Coke that doesnt have aspartame as its artificial sweetener. That includes juice companies. They have a monopoly on what you must drink. Most scientists think Stevia is the best.
