And we also notice the slightly off shapes their mouths make when trying to pronounce words. A large reason why so many American reactors gravitate to Mori is because her English singing voice is virtually indistinguishable from an American singer. It’s not just pronunciation… *intonation* is just as important. The nuances are very hard to explain, but honestly if anyone really wants to know, just grab an American friend and ask their honest opinion.
