  • We teamed up with friends for a 5-day adventure from Salt Lake City to Yellowstone National Park (and back)!
Leg 12 took us on a high speed tour! We started with fresh fries (because, why not?) and spotted bison on the way to Yellowstone. The next day, a spectacular helicopter tour soared us over geothermal wonders. We explored the geyser basins, marveled at Old Faithful, and camped under the stars.
Grand Teton National Park was next, with iconic stops like Oxbow Overlook and Jenny Lake. We even snagged a killer dispersed campsite, like our best yet. Our final day on the road included a hike at Jenny Lake, scenic drives, and exploring Jackson Hole. Wrapping up the journey we washed and stored the truck and even squeezed in time to see the Land Cruiser Heritage Museum.
It was a whirlwind, but we packed a ton of fun into 5 days!

HEYO, awesome to see Reichert and Alex here for this one! :D
"I was just going to point aggressively at the rainbow" "We're just waiting for Old Faithful to do the Old Faithful thing" I am however disappointed that no "bye son!" jokes were made...
The views from the helicopter are beyond phenomenal, holy cow! AND the lunch views? DAMN, this was scenic AF!

We learned something on that helicopter flight actually. Their scientific name is bison bison bison. All three levels are the same name, which is kind of unique.
