Ya know what I think it is, we feel like we're talking to our best friend about deep personal stuff, it's not just small talk/superficial conversations, we're making true connections. I'm the type where I can't stand small talk, it's always awkward, weird, and unpleasant, so when you get more personal in your vlogs, I feel seen, like girl same, we have the same issues and we can just talk about it without anyone feeling stupid for voicing it out loud. For you it might seem weird that we want to hear you speak about all of this stuff, but for us it doesn't. I think that's what makes some people great vloggers, because life is mundane it's not always adventures and traveling to all sorts of cool places, it's about living your normal everyday life and just trying to live and survive without going crazy.
I can't imagine anything when I'm reading, I have aphantasia, so when I read it's like I am the main character, so it feels like I'm having a conversation with someone.
Okay but that kind of puts it perfectly! Because if I switch it to people I watch, I totally get that and feel the same way. I’m all here for the cozy, deep feelings chats all the way in a vlog-way more than a bunch of super intense travel stuff for sure. I love that! Thank you 🫶🏻

I adore longer vlogs, even if I have to break it up into separate viewings. Also, my fav rewatch shows are the 1960's Addams Family (my fav show of all time), Gilmore Girls, Friends, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and the Mandalorian. Oh! And Supernatural. Can't forget the boys!

I dont watch anything but youtube. Movies are there for the holidays. My 9 year old loves watching fall vlogs because she has a fall soul.
I love to watch fall vlogs, especially in the summer time!
My dog is going through health issues and I have to take him to the vet in about an hour so this is perfect timing to take my mind off things (I'm 95% sure he's fine, I think he just ate too much grass or something as usual, typical dog!) Really love how long your vlogs are!

They're definitely not only older shows, but "old people" shows. And while I may not be old in body, I am definitely old in spirit 🤣
In regards to vlog length, you could post 10 hr vlogs and I'd still watch them. I find them to be both entertaining and peaceful, two things I never have enough of

I used to rewatch a lot of Buffy and CW shows but now I am read vlogs all the way. Avoiding getting all parasocial here lol, I mostly save vlogs for reading time so its like book time with friends ❤❤

GIRL I have two cats a dog and a toddler and I got the Roborock S7 (this comment isn’t sponsored I bought it with my own money 😉) and it just runs on its own schedule once a day and vacuums and mops and I swear it is better for my mental health then all the therapy I’ve done. It literally is so nice. We have to do a sweep/mop every two weeks but the floor genuinely feels clean every day it runs
We have a little robo guy, I just forget to run him everyday 😭 I need to make that a habit!

Ruocchio likes his time skips. The first part to Howling Dark is intentionally confusing like you're supposed to be coming out of fugue with Hadrian. That shakes out and the book is incredible. Ruocchio also writes stories in novellas and short stories that take place during time skips.
That's actually really really helpful to know because I love to be as confused as our character is, but I have to make sure it's not just a me problem 😂
@@oliviareadsalatte Haha definitely not just a you problem. I've been a fan of this series since 2020 and I have seen so many people start Howling Dark and be like "Did I skip a book?" That includes me when I read it. If you roll with it there is definitely pay off.

I imagine a crisp apple, but I'm an artist...so it makes sense for my brain to do that because we train it to do so. It's why you hear artists frustrated about their own work sometimes because the actual drawing/painting isn't as exact as in their head. Your mopping question shamed me...I don't do it enough...and we just swiffer wetjet. Besides the editing taking forever for you, I would enjoy 3 hour vlogs, I usually split up these in chunks of time. Hopefully that doesn't mess with YT analytics...

However, shows I have re-watched in the past are Bewitched, I Dream of Jeannie, Golden Girls, Happy Days, Agatha Christie's Poirot, Who Do You Think You Are, Finding Your Roots, Inside The Actors Studio, Lost Girl, Blood Ties, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Dollhouse, Xena: Warrior Princess, Relic Hunter, The Guild, Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog, Video Game High School.
Okay, now I'm ashamed after creating this list. Fingers crossed that you may check some of them out.

I just finished Home is Where The Bodies Are and I didn’t like it too much there was a lot of build up and then oh here’s the answer of who did it quickly and then done
As a chronic re-watcher I had run to the comments…I rewatch New Girl, The Office, Parks and Rec, Bridgerton, The Crown, Dr WHO also (the Van Gogh ep is traumatizing for real), The Circle (this one is embarrassing to admit- but because it’s basically all narrated you can do anything while it’s on and not miss a thing).
I don’t know if I’ve ever seen the circle 🤔
