+ceasar lopez silly question.but that's ok. poor education and fear shapes the perception we have of each other in this world.we are trained to look for deficiencies in anyone with dark skin or non white or who refer to themselves as black. it might be the desperate desire to be accepted by whites.. especially in the hispanic culture the fixation of comparing and accentuating features of the great and almighty white masters-the most beautiful race in the whole earth...everyone is on the journey of wanting to be white.. the closer you are the happier people feel.strange and sadly we don't see this a public mental health issue.

Life is so strange,I also find both women unbelieveably lovely,but I also love the hair and eyes of asian women. I love it when they embrace that ink black hair color and straightness-beautiful. We seem to always admire the opposite of ourselves instead of looking at the unique qualities of each race that makes them beautiful and respecting that beauty.

Somalis never lived in Ethiopia, which is post colonial name called that country. The word means in Greek “the country of the blacks”, like Sudan which means the same in Arabic.

Africa is a continent not a country! So ofcourse we all look unique from different parts. Just like not all of Asia and Europe look the same. I for one consider myself African not Arab (I'm Somali by the way)... we don't even speak Arab for the most part unless we migrated. BLACK IS THE COLOUR OF MY SKIN!
@Fuzzbabby You are right Liberia In a way, it was - though not officially clonized by another country. Liberia was set up as a place where freed slaves from the USA could rule themselves. An American society under president Monroe bought land there and paid for freed slaves who wanted to go to be transported there.
The "colonization" started in 1816, and Liberia became independent in 1847. However, the country called Liberia included some land held by the indigenous people

Culture is what defines African people, much more so than race. I find the tendency to dwell on differences between people from the Horn of Africa and the others rather childish because they are appreciated by the modelling industry. Ask yourself - do those preferences apply to males?
Africans need to stop seeking validation by 'European' standards. I can appreciate the need for these women to take advantage of the opportunities Western media offers, but too much shouldn't be made of it.
