Is it a problem tho ? Just use the charachter unless its legendary , i had ppl who ask me to change my main ( enchantress) even tho i only play her , but its not even legendary so no one forcing us to not use the same character ?
@@rikosama7648 uh huh, that doesnt apply to all characters, you do know if people main prospector and play the same character specially in ranked with different colored magnets, it can affect the other prospectors polarity while kiting. Even in qms i died because another prospector was throwing a magnet to the hunter but i had a different polarity so i got hit cause the hunter got attracted to me so uhh that's just situational
+ its always good to have more than 1 main (learned this the hard way) i got into my first ever legendary match and all my mains were taken (Embalmer and Prospector) and i had no one else to play as and it was really devastating playing as a character youre not used to and not being able to change your gameplay style(kiting wise) anyways long to short yes, it is a problem in some aspects.

I had some distance from hunter, but one prospector threw a magnet with the other polarity, i got attracted to hunter and died

Me whenever meet someone else want to use Norton, I usually let them use instead of me playing cuz I’m scared that if I kite bad, they’ll be mad at me so I let them play :)) kinda sad but yea

Oh sure! I’m always happy to give out tips
I usually have 39 (broken windows and borrowed time) with max snooze and will to survive 2 or sticker 2 (although I find will to survive 2 helpful if you are trying to struggle out of the basement) I don’t recommend tide with her because she will most likely be found first and if you don’t have your kiting persona you may struggle but in case this happens bring in 369 (tide turner, borrowed time and knee jerk reflex)
When using the cane I recommend waiting at least 2-3 seconds before using it because the hunter can find you by the sound of the strike if they are wearing headphones however if you are with randoms and you don’t trust them go ahead and use the cane, although be prepared to kite for your life lol
Even though you may have 39 try not to vault and put down pallets as much as you can because Helena is as slow as Tracy and she has a vaulting debuff of -30% and a slow pallet pulling, (it’s also because I’ve seen some people vault too often which can lead to TS and bad kites) kite in broken spaces like hospital, factory in Leo’s Memory or shack (if your kiting near basement, it’s better to get out there as soon as possible because doing a basement rescue can be tricky if you don’t have GraveKeeper, Priestess or Merc) and keep looping, use the pallets to your advantage and only put them down if they are in the pallet or you are trying to create distance between them also when using the cane use it when they are breaking a pallet or they are going through the window (since their interaction speed can decrease depending on how close you are) the cane can help you create distance which leads to a good kite and you don’t have to stop and use the cane anymore since Helena is able to use it while she walks or runs
When it comes to kiting go to areas that have walls because she can see the hunter through the walls, I usually would like to kite for at least 2 ciphers to get a guaranteed tie or win (if you kite for 4-5 ciphers then it would be a guaranteed win unless with randoms it may be a guaranteed draw) also if a teammate dies in 5s then it’s a guaranteed lost or it will be a difficult draw so if it happens don’t worry about it, it’s not your fault if it happens so don’t be too hard on yourself and don’t be toxic to others if this happens ;; please I’ve encountered toxicity many times and I don’t like it
be careful if one of your teammates hasn’t been hit for about 50s because the hunter may pull up a teleport move on you or will find you with quenching effect, so if a teammate hasn’t been hit in 50s get yourself off the cipher machine and be prepared to kite and go to a good kiting area.
Since you are a decoder, you don’t need to rescue because your goal is to decode cipher machines however only rescue if you aren’t the only one injured and your teammates doesn’t have time to heal and maybe rescue if they are close enough)
That’s all what I have I may update it when I’m back with more tips
