For those who see this comment and are having difficulty passing it, here are two tips that made this mission a lot easier for me, first you will need to buy the engine upgrade to win the race and you need the wing with a lift, it is the second wing in the updates ship. and the tip that made it a lot easier for me is to worry about passing the sight through the auras and not about passing the ship. This will greatly reduce your attempts. With this method I passed on the third attempt.

After about an hour and a half I finally got this. The rings have to be flown through at the perfect angles and they come at you very quickly. Plus the controls are way too sensitive. The result is over compensating the steering all the time. My eyes are fucked... But I finally got it.

The main thing that worked for me was focusing on getting the reticule through the ring not the ship. If the reticule goes through the ship will follow.
I hate this with every fiber of my being. Probably at least an hour at this now. I hate this way more than the hiverbike skill and the visibomb gold bolt that was in the first game. That's saying something, because I really hated those. Not hoverboard levels though. Wow, right after commenting this, I got it smfh.
I FINALLY DID IT!..just used the boost right from the start and then Wooooo dodgings...seriously,i hated the Point Of View of the wormholes? along with the TURNINGS INSIDE THE SHIP
this is the hardest freakin thing in the whole game , apart from the other races where you have to do the same thing!!! wish there was a cheat way to do it , or slow down the sensitivity!
Had I not seen this video, I would have thought this feat impossible. I have spent more time trying to get this bolt, than playing the rest of the game, combined. I still have not even gotten close (my best is 11 rings missed). I am at my wits end here, every slight tap on the joystick sends the ship veering.
It doesn't make it any easier to catch all the rings, though. With that rotten camera you're just BOUND to miss one of them sooner or later, no matter how much you boosted the ship engine.
Sweet. I knew I'd get it after I complained; ain't that always the way. Immediately after I complained, I beat the race missing 4 rings, 3 times. then 1 ring, then 0.
Just did this on PS5 with high lift wings, much easier, the boost engine helps get away from the other racer as well. still hated it, still shaking from the nerves.

I would have a much easier time with this i I could invert the goddamn flight controls for the ship, but I can't. I guess I'm not getting the platinum trophy because of this bullshit.

been trying on and off for bout an hour......After implementing your strat I was able to get the Platinum Bolt within another 2 tries
If you have 15 raritium just upgrade to the ordinance wings and then 1 or 2 more times till you get the hi lift ones. Made this so much easier.
For ps Vita this is really annoying, i recommend going with the other pilot, the closest the better.
