This week we're visiting two Dams - Keepit and Copeton. With some amazing dead trees to shoot and the most amazing (and unexpected) sunrise, there's a lot going on in this one.

Ha ha - many thanks Isotech 🙏 Yes, as I always say, you can only really shoot what's in front of you and those sunset shots were all that was on offer at the time. However the sunrise shots made up for it - really glad you liked them 😉 All the best 👍🏻
Great video Brian. That last image at Copeton dam is amazing. To my eye, that cloud looks like a giant bird flying across the landscape. I like the sunset shots, but what looks like a halo around the dead tree detracts the eye from the stunning light. Cheers, Merv
Many thanks Merv - really appreciate it 🙏. That's interesting as I hadn't noticed the halo before. I'm guessing it was the remaining light as the sun had just gone down behind the hills. I didn't see it too much in the third shot but it was taken a bit later so the sun was well down by then.
Those clouds in the sunrise were drawing all sorts of shapes across the sky - glad you liked it 👍. All the best 👍

Great sunrise skies you captured there , Mr Smith . I prefer the red sky with 5sec exposure as it gives more details on the clouds……. Great v long 👍👍👍 …. Only fault I can find is that you not wearing a life jacket while you on the boat otherwise I would have given you 12 out of 10. Since you got penalised for that , you one getting 10/10
Ha ha - thanks Eric 🙏 🙏. The funny thing is I had packed the life jackets and went and left them back at camp 😱. I had to make sure I stayed near the shallows 😉. All the best 👍

You are just rocking your adventure. Love the ripples in front of the Keepit tree and well the sunrise was just nuts. Colour and reflections - landscape ‘porn’. I wouldn’t mind a dollar for every hour I spent sailing and skiing on Lake Keepit (spent my teens in Gunnedah). Keep em coming Brian !!
