87 Innocent Faces Are Safe Now (4 September 2024)
Allow us to introduce you to the faces we saved from Myrnograd and evacuated northwest of Kyiv. No longer are they at risk of harm or danger from a war they had no choice to live through or be born into. We drove them over nine hours nonstop to get them here.
They will be cared for until new homes can be found. Some require medical attention, which will be provided. Others just need a little bit of love and time to decompress from all they have been through. Irrespective of what their individual requirements and needs are, they will be addressed and received.
It was a LOT of work, but it was worth it. To have this many animals in our van at once is incredible. It is a testament to the determination and dedication of local Ukrainian volunteers who put a shelter together for these animals when one did not exist before. It took a lot of people to come together at all the right times and places to ensure these innocent souls had a safe place to go, and were able to get there.
