Too complicated. An elastic band offers some of the stretch and resistance benefits and can be kept in the bag. Thanks for reviewing this overly engineered device that seems to target affluent geardo-golfers.
As a person who has been in and around the fitness industry for a while, please consider saving your money and just buy a set of resistance bands. And instead of paying $25/month on the app, invest that money into a full gym membership. I can appreciate this company’s idea but it’s really more of a marketing gimmick than anything else.
I've had it for a while now and I think it does what is supposed to do. Use the youtube video of Scotts warm up and it works. Do the programs for while now I have a much better turn and it has helped my lower back problems. I used the 30 free app to learn all I needed for my on use of the product.
I have been using this for a year now and you missed the best parts of the app and the equipment in this review. I am over 40 and under six feet and am driving it over 300 yards because of this program.
Hey Matt, I use elastic workout bands - got a set with multiple weights for around $40 from Amazon - they come with handles as well - just no golf club looking apparatus with adjustable balls - for that I have a pair of 5oz golf club donuts from Amazon for around $10 - no app though - but does the trick - just sayin' :) - love the vids and appreciate your time and expertise!!
I used to sell surgical tubing for people to use for strength training. Never went over 10 bucks. It's a cool idea but seems very expensive. Good video though.
yeah that has to be the most gimmicky thing in the store get a thrift store club rope and some springs this is like the live lure for the bass pro shops a lure that costs 89 dollars for lake fishin
Apparently, the true magic comes from the app, which you can use without the golf forever kit. From my understanding, if you do it right, the app will walk through a fit test, ask what your goals are, and create a program to achieve those goals. This is one of those things you have to give a long term review and do you notice any difference.
Hmm? I have several resistance bands. Plus, the weighted ball swing trainer. Not sure I need this to do the same similar things. Aero swing works fine for me. Do planks if you want to build up your core.
I’ve been using Golf Forever since January. I’ve added 20 yards off the tee and greatly increased my shoulder mobility. Pete Holman is a great motivator. Can’t recommend this enough
You're such a good egg, Matt. Love your personality. Challenge: Can you get some balls from Topgolf and let us know how many yards we lose when hitting balls at Topgolf vs real balls? I do most of my training at Topgolf, it would be great to know how many yards I need to adjust to know my numbers :-)
if you do another golfing at the worst rated coureses episode, PLEASE go to Ponkapoag Golf Course in Canton, Massachusetts. It is the worst course you will ever play at, the greens are more than abysmal. It is a shame as the layout is actually nice and they have two 18 hole courses but they just don't maintain it
Tbh...does Scottie REALLY need more money from endorsements? i agree with the comments..im sure you can find suitable replacement items for cheaper and not giving your money away to someone who already has more than a majorit of people. But overall an interesting video...
Sorry, I think it's a $149 waste of time that you could easily replicate with a set of exercise elastic bands. I have a complete set of neoprene (?) elastic tubes with handles that I can do the same exercises, and they didn't cost me $40.
just more proof that if you add the term "golf" to a product that you can buy cheaper, golfers will buy it. how is this any different than normal resistance bands, a couple of cheap tools from home depot and a large rake handle... what a waste of $$$
Hahaha. The crap they put out, and then add a subscription. Like the wise one said below - a broom stick and a resistance band. For some reason golf is especially susceptible to this garbage.
Bad review. The app is great. Leads you through workouts, teaches you how to use the equipment. You’re randomly guessing. Kind of like your Plane Mate Review when you had it on backwards.
Yeah, he doesn't ever really take the time to deep dive into things. Just kind of wings it. I just like watching his visits to golf courses and whatnot
That looks like it's 150 bucks for a broom stick and a $10 set of resistance bands.
Exactly what I was thinking, you can get this stuff for $15.
From Mr Short Game to Mr $hitty Gadgets. Someone's got to do it.
😄

Seems like any stretching plan would accomplish same thing.
Man, good for you getting to ask Bryson a question in Nashville. MSG is getting out there!

As I was cleaning my pool yesterday using the pole and leave bag, I felt like I could use these same motions and get a good workout - saved me $200
At first thought it was cool idea, then saw you needed subscription to use the app and on how to use, nope
It’s almost a miracle! This plus regular practice will improve your game 😮

This is identical to the TRX RIP Trainer......
A suspension system with the TRX bungee will do just as good as this. 70 bucks
waste of money

wait. how much did you pay for socks??

The green ball and grey attachments actually do help. It's great for warm-ups on the muscles if you're just bringing it to the course.
a junked out thrift store driver and a sand bag weight do the same too :)
I am guessing this is the one in Roswell, Ga? Doesn't look like the one in Kennesaw Ga.
am i looking at resistance bands with a golf price premium?

I can’t believe you didn’t do a sock review
Thanks for the information
Sorry, not impressed at all.
Or get the bands from the exercise section bof Walmart for 15 bucks and get a broom stick....
$16 for socks???!!! Please tell me it was at least 4 pairs.

Do you think Harry Higgs or Neal Shipley uses this nonsense?
Now if I could just get my accountant and the IRS to rationalize my business expenses the way you rationalized that price! LOL
All junk gimmicks lol. Do the aliexpress autoflex $50 shaft vs the $800 "authentic"

Hard pass for a overpriced rubber band.
The worst trend in golf products is the subscription based pricing.
That's the worst trend in all products.
@@TimmyK916 true.
Mr. Shill Game?
hahaha thats how my kid unboxes all of my stuff!
My friend you got burnt big time!! I can buy resistance bands for 20 bucks that work even better

Unfortunately it looks like total 💩 for the money. A fool and his money are soon parted

LIV Golf Superstore is better
A new level of garbage has been achieved.
