Hi Nu_Trix! Going back and reviewing your videos from the year, and came across this one, which put a smile on my face once again! Like you, just hearing these cool retro sounds make me inspired to compose something. I'm so enjoying your enthusiasm and gear covered!
You said it could be used as auto-accompaniment... kind of. Why did you add "kind of". What is the difference between UVI's Chord Follow feature and auto-accompaniment keyboards? I've been thinking about a Yamaha SX, but maybe this is good enough. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.
Each instances of Super-7 has a stereo out (at least in UVI's workstation. I don't know in Falcon). If you use a preset that has the complete 6 instruments, then they will be mixed for the stereo out. If you want multiple individual outputs. than you can load up to 4 instances (parts) in UVI's workstation and assign them each to a different output.
in fact its a scaled down automatic accompaniment (styles) engine like a professional aranger,i have the korg PA700,but the styles are superior then the Roland super-7 from back in the day,fun library tough, rigid audio has also an accompaniment module, but with more modern sounds, one thing however,i find the GUI disgusting, certainly that flashy red, yikes th-cam.com/video/ys6soqk0tYM/w-d-xo.html walktrough th-cam.com/video/5_jo57gXyYE/w-d-xo.html

This product should be called 'Synth Band In A Box'. :-)

this is still the one providing the most immediate fun.
Great Review! I love this UVI product. Fun and inspiring!
You made me buy this one ! Just bought it... Thanks !
Damn ! You just sold it to me ! I'm not in the 80's style but it sound so
good !
Love your enthusiasm. This seems like a way more fun way to own an MKS-7 (which if I recall doesn't let you save presets and is a pain to edit).
Can you just record this to a daw?

These are more like little loops you can play. A real auto accompaniment would see the chords and play a bass line to support it.
Can UVI Super-7 play any chord progression?
Unfortunately, the arpeggiator only has a transpose function.
I just bought it but I feel confused.
Like I say in the video, it’s more like a bank of loops to play with.
How should one use this? Do you put many instances of this in a daw so you can use each sound individually or what?
