    The clip causes drag.

    Is the plane hanging from its centre of lift or from the centre of mass?

      @@mikelarin8037 well, in actual flight, the lifting force would be acting at a point which isn't necessarily the CG. So i would hang it from the CL.

      @@R_Alexander029 thanks for the quick reply. Ive been thinking about building a small wind tunnel to test my micro rc planes and couldnt find any Information on this. It would be nice to verify a few things before going out to the field and crashing them :)

      @@mikelarin8037 No worries mate, it's nice and early here in Australia. I have been working on a home made wind tunnel for about a year but haven't had much time to complete that project. I wanted to achieve a test chamber wind velocity of at least 15m/s (33 mph).

      That seems like an achievable goal for sure. Are you planning on using an off the shelf fan?
