Laura's amazing. Honestly, she can cry while maintaining a beautiful voice to sing. When I'm crying and singing, I sound like a toad. Great job and love the song.

this is just perfect. from the cast to the songs to even the costumes. especially what elle is wearing in this part. it shows how much she had to change herself.

Okay I realize your comment is ancient, but I don't think that's what this song is about at all. I think it's about Elle suddenly feeling like everything she has accomplished since coming to Harvard is a lie, and pretty is *all* she is ever going to be. She really thought she was doing something right, but when Callahan treated her like just another piece of ass and fired her like she was nothing when she didn't "perform"... well, it shattered her world.

I have nothing against LBB, but I personally think she seemed too old and mature for this role. I preferred Laurens fresh face to Elle.
I love Laura Bell Bundy but she doesn't capture the character and story behind this song as well as Sheridan does.
