    Only just stumbled on your channel, and have had a heap of fun learning vert... first comment, so a long one- 45yo from NZ. I was learning backside airs, but broke my arm (again). It has not been an easy trick for me to (try to) learn, despite it appearing simple. Only takes one time to get it wrong and my back foot went board side, quickly sent me to my back on the flat. Thank you for this vid, I never thought to pull on the board a little. Healing up in arm cast, so getting back to the ramp is still a long while away. I look forward to seeing the rest of your channel. Cheers!

      @pearsing01  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Mate thanks for the message. I hope you are healing well. I have been back rolling for five yrs and have had to re learn them several times. Sounds like you may have had too much weight on the front foot or over rotated. Let me know how you go when you start again. 👊👊

      @@pearsing01 Many thanks. I circled back to your week 01 vid, where my initial assumption you lived in the UK was proved wrong. Just across the ditch... coincidentally I happened to be visiting in Victoria (Melbourne) at the time I broke my arm.

      Hey Jeremy, I was from the UK. But now live in Victoria about 2hrs from Melbourne. Sounds like it wasn't the best visit.

      @@pearsing01 Haha, arm break was the day before flying out, which brought a different set of challenges. Glad to have got the time on board in a different place however. 👍

      When you're scraping your tail, do your back wheels lose contact with the ramp so it's just your tail touching?

    Excellent! You’re ripping 🤙🏽 how do you do them below the coping 🤷🏽‍♂️ thx just subscribed 👊🏽

    • @pearsing01
      @pearsing01  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks Dino, it really is exactly the same get used to kick turning while sliding the tail on the ramp and grabbing the nose. Just get comfortable with that. You should start to feel like you have a bit of time with the nose grabbed. Then just as your about to turn back in pull your back leg up and your off the ramp. This works well just below the coping and then as you progress above also. I hope this helps. 👍👍

      To get air under coping without the help of a bonk, I think I have to tap my tail a lil harder and pull my nose a little more (almost like a lever) to get an at or below coping air.
      Right now I can tail scrape the vert wall with three wheels over coping & all wheels are off-the-wall.
      For me it feels like a tail tapping leaping motion back into the transition while tail scraping (with an extended rear leg).
      Does makes sense?

    • @pearsing01
      @pearsing01  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey mate, sounds like you are about there. When you get to the part that you are three wheels out just lift your back leg to get all your wheels off. Then its all about the commitment to land. You must be so close. 👊👊

  • @secondfallingsound
    @secondfallingsound 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    do you mind sharing the dimensions of your vert ramp?

    • @pearsing01
      @pearsing01  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not at all. 9ft 9in tranny, 6in vert 20ft wide. 14ft flat. Works well for me for lip tricks, as I am more into that these days. 😁
