Thank you for your comment 🙏 I built the ramp at 47 ready for my 48th birthday and I will be 52 soon and I have enjoyed every minute of riding it over the last 4yrs. I will continue to do so as long as my body and mind let me. I had two layers of 12mm(1/2in) marine ply. Was a mission to bend. Never thought of going sideways. I should have staggered more joints. Thanks for the tips. 👊👊

This might be bullshit but I’ve heard if you go longways it skates faster because you’re rolling with the grain. Though I’ve always gone short because it bends better.
