I don't know what other people are talking about, but, I put on Nautica Voyage yesterday before I left for work at 5:50pm. I could STILL smell it when i finished work at 7am. 5 sprays. Granted, not as potent as when it was first applied but the scent lingers and would woft towards me when I moved around. It's a great fragrance. Great purchase and value.
In my opinion Ash (Gents Scents) is hands down the best fragrance reviewer on TH-cam. He always cuts to the chase! Always an honest, straight forward review! Pretty sure he uploads videos almost daily. He explains everything for us whom are curious. Tells us the notes and longevity. Cheaper alternatives and always mentions reliable discounters if people want to save a bit of money! He also has a video speaking on the subject of addictions to buying fragrances. Thanks for all the great reviews Ash and for being down to earth! I look forward to your videos daily!
I'm late to the fragrance game, so I missed all of the hate that people gave to Versace Eros Flame. It's my signature and I love it. I wear it more than any other fragrance in my collection. I'm actually wearing it right now. Haha! I'm just glad that people are giving it the love now that it has always deserved.

I actually really like the dsquared. It last forever and gets compliments. Not super exciting but nothing out there really smells like it at all. That’s being said the Dior is much better but double to triple the price.
Agreed on the Wood one. Lasts forever and definitely gets me compliments. Also don't really get his comment "it's not actually all that woody...". To me it definitely is though. But that's just how our senses work i guess. No diss.
I liked the SpiceBomb night vision initially when it came out but found myself not wearing it as often as I thought I would. I lean more towards La'nuit D'lhomme and Thierry Muggler Pure Malt. While these are no where near the same type of fragrance, it is the direction I tend to go for.
I dislike Jeremy Fragrance now because he is insanely cringy… but im glad I listened to him about La Nuit De Lhomme and ADG Profumo. Frags for life for me!
Night vision EDT was the first ever bottle I’ve ever bought when I started my little selection of scents few years ago. I thought it was really great then, even got some compliments on it. 3 years later still have 80% of the bottle at least left 🤷🏻♂️ The half and half between fresher aromatic and cut back on spice just doesn’t make a lot of sense to me now.
Yves Saint Laurent L'Homme Eau de parfum and Intense were the ones that i thought will increase the sillage of YSL L'homme but they smell totally different.
The new D2 Wood is an ok fresh/woody scent.. Presentation is nice. Fragrance is a little flat and boring… But it is nice. Especially if you pick it up on the cheap.

It still smells like toilet spray and it's expensive therefor it's an expensive toilet spray. And this is just facts, because that's what it actually smells like it has that synthetic, sharp, cheap, toilet spray/poisonous/bug spray smell that will always be there and it's present in the majority of YSL fragrances like L'homme, Y EDT, Y Eau Fraiche and others too. That's just a problem YSL has with their fragrances. It's not just YSL that has the issue, it's just due to bad perfumery and the perfumers option for lower quality ingredients and generally where niche fragrances have the edge over designed when it comes to quality.
I'm seriously so angry that I bought Jimmy Choo Urban Hero, I would do anything to get rid of the bottle I own including giving it away for free I just don't even want it in my collection. It doesn't smell bad but it's so boring and I really would never wear it. They really need to discontinue Urban Hero
You NEED to get your nose on "Wright No. 100" - inexpensive. Bought it as a complete joke, but WOW, this stuff blew me away. Going to start wearing it in the fall

Sorry this is a random question, but I ordered Creed Aventus on Fragrancenet that arrived today. The shipping took about a week in the summer heat (90-100 degree weather here in the South); my mistake for ordering it before the holiday weekend… do you think the fragrance is still ok or should I return it and order it again when it gets cooler? I normally wouldn’t stress it really but this a ~$400 fragrance
Lalique Puor Homme Lion is probably my biggest disappointment. There's a note I really dislike in there. I was expecting a woody lavender with old school vibes, but there is that fruity cloying note I just can't stand!

to all my fragrance entusiasts, lets have a shot every time a fragrance reviewer, say something that a fragrance is , boring, richer, has more depth to describe a fragrance by you know not describing a fragrance, is getting ridicoulous
I tried it, I agree with it being a basic easy going scent. The issue I see from reviews is that the scent is weak and not very long lasting. When it comes to the regular explorer I think it smells horrible, I'm not a huge fan of the leathery smell that stays on the skin.
@@MrGlutting I completely get that. Personally I get 8+ hours from both Explorer and Explorer Ultra Blue, I’ve seen the complaints about longevity but I haven’t gotten that result. Scent is subjective, I guess more Ultra Blue for me 😂
Ultra blue is just too boring and it does technically smell like a clone of nautica voyage, only 4x times the price with an even worse citrus than voyage uses. Voyage being more aquatic and ultra blue being more synthetic lemon. Both give off some toilet spray/bug spray vibes but ultra blue has it way worse where as voyage only slightly there. Although spray ultra blue and voyage side by side, they actually do smell very similar
Yeah I grabbed it randomly from a Macy’s as I’m brand new to this stuff. I moved to Voyage, cool water, and leau dissy pour homme. After a month of using everything else, I put ultra blue on and was actually really pleasantly surprised. After all the hate I was regretting my purchase until I tried it again. I do love the other stuff I picked up so thankfully I don’t own anything I hate.

My biggest dislikes are colognes too sweet and leathery so far, I haven't tried too many but I didn't like Nautica Voyage , MontBlanc Explorer and Spicebomb ( The Orange one). Colognes that are too sweet aren't masculine to me, It's more for teenagers yet I still smell Voyage coming from grown men 🤷♂

Where did you purchase it? I got one on Amazon and had to use like 10-12 sprays in order to make it stay long.

Most Wanted Tonic helped me understand what boring means when describing a fragrance.

Ash always dunks on Ultra Blue, Wanted Tonic and Night Vision. I like all those as well as Urban Hero and much prefer those over Versace Pour Homme.

Wanted Tonic way nicer than Voyage and maybe even Coach Blue IMO, it's a bit of an oddball in the Wanted line but smells great (if nothing new).
$20 for nautica voyage is a guaranteed steal, it performs alright and projects well, isn't that heavy so you could literally bathe in it
