This song isn’t necessarily what got 50 shot but it was part of it. In this song 50 mentions a lot of hood legends, most of whom were either dead, in prison or no longer active. 50 saw this song as paying homage to where he grew up and he was proud of his neighbourhood. In a way, 50 was always upset that the likes of Preme never fully embraced him as he looked up to them growing up. After this song was made, Preme sent word to 50 to stop mentioning his name. Added, Preme’s ego was hurt as Prince was mentioned as the killer and him as a businessman. Fast forward to the Murder Inc beef, 50 was now becoming a nuisance who was disturbing Preme’s investment and there was clear friction brewing. Ultimately no one really knows what did it but this song was definitely the start of the road that led to it.

No one knows what got 50 Cent shot 9 times there's a few different scenarios that people say got him shot
Him beefing with murder Inc because preme was backing murder inc
Then others say this is the song because they say he was mentioning names I don't think so just because if they thought he was snitching why wouldn't they continue going after him
