    Doing a blower replacement on mine today. Thanks for this video bro. Took it to a shop and they charged me $326 for a motorcraft, but they didn’t put it in but still charged me. They just knocked on it just enough to get it working.

      Just got done. It took me 30 minutes because of the screw in the back. I ended up having to bend the plastic air router in order to get to it. I put that summbich back in with just 2 screws and it worked like a champ. I bought it off Amazon for $80 or something.

      Oh and you will need a small mirror to be able to see the front, left screw. And when you put the new blower in, you will need to start the screw first and then join.

    Man thank you so much for this video.
    My buddies transit that we ride in a lot as a band started having ac issues a few months back, finally I diagnosed it had to be a blower motor. We picked up the part on the way to the gig and I got it changed out on site at the venue. That 3rd bolt in the back is a SOB. I was cursing the whole time getting that one out.

    If your blower failed, it might be because Ford never installed a Cabin Air Filter. (behind the glove box, right above the blower.) If you just installed a new blower, do yourself a favor, spend an extra $25 and install an air filter to extend the life of your new blower motor.

    would you know why in my 2010 transit connect my heater only turns on full force at level4..does nothing at level 1,2 and 3

    • @dairleautoclassicrestorati6892
      @dairleautoclassicrestorati6892  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It sounds like you need to replace the Blower Motor Resistor. It controls the speed on the fan. I have not worked on a Connect. But I will say it should be located around your Heater Box.On some vehicles it located on the Firewall.

      I did that and it ended up being the fan anyway so if you can get a new fan and plug it in and see if it works then you know whether it's the resistor or not because that was a waste of money replacing it for nothing
      At first mine wouldn't blow on four then it wouldn't blow on three then it wouldn't blow on two and then it stopped blowing on one.
      Everyone said the resistor or switch but it ended up being the fan anyway
      If you're going to go cheapest to most expensive you would start with the switch and then do the resistor but it's probably just the fan

    • @Rforce78
      @Rforce78 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can actually use a multimeter on the fan plug to test it first, the voltage should be lower on 1 and go up as you turn it up I believe. And if you don't get voltage as a one of the speed settings then it will be the resistor,if it has voltage on all speeds then the fan is bad but make sure all the fuses and relays are good also before running the test
