  • This is a ASMR video of a 16 MVA power transformer at 110 kV substation. No voiceover or talking. Actual noise is accomplished by random village background noises like singing birds, passing cars and children playing. Weird relaxation, meditation, learning, studying background sounds.

    Best ASMR video there is.
Blue sky, the transformer hum, the birds and the kids playing in the background.
This is all I need to listen to, to feel like home, where ever I am.

I bet that's scary in person.
Reminds me of a high power air conditioner on phone

Not really, I had the opportunity to tour a gas fire power station with my physics class and its so cool to stand near these things. They are fenced off so you are always a couple metres away. When we walked out of the turbine hall we got to see the initial transformers from the generator and main switching and distribution yard. We walked underneath the power cables connecting the two together. The sound coming from the transformers was really loud in person but there wasnt a sense of iminant danger because of the safety put in place. Really was a cool place to visit
