- Here is the narrated match of my very first bjj tournament at 42 years old. I won my first match and lost my second one so ended up with silver. Also competed in no gi and got gold there, I will be uploading more as I get the chance to do so...any pointers or suggestions are more than welcome, thanks!!!

Yeah, thats one of the cool things of recording them, you can see what to work on, etc…makes training a lot more intentional

Good on you for doing it. Your kimura failed because it was an Americana. You pull his arm down to his side and lift the elbow. I took have gotten it backwards and wrenched on the other guy hard without results.

Nice good job! I am also there in the super/ultra heavy just started in bjj a month ago.
How long did you train before your first fight? I don't feel I am ready yet at all (I'm 49 and not in super shape).
