Hello, I am interested in acquiring a BIM platform with this CAD environment (autodesk) but focused on urban planning and topography, that is, we want to show the urban furniture elements as BIM objects such as; poles, traffic lights, wells, closets, trees, flowerbeds, ramps, roads, platforms, stairs, valves, enclosures, etc. BricsCAD offers these kind of libraries? If you don't have them, can it be imported from an external platform? I would greatly appreciate your support.
Hi there, thanks for your question! The available BIM Classifications from BricsCAD BIM can be found here: help.bricsys.com/en-us/document/dialog-boxes/c/classify-as-bim-element-dialog-box?version=V24&id=165079122924 You can export components from other software (for example through IFC) or create it in BricsCAD from scratch and classify it as a BIM Element. Then, the you can create a Component at the Library Panel from it: help.bricsys.com/en-us/document/dialog-boxes/a/add-block-to-library-dialog-box?version=V24&id=165079121082 This Help center article could also help: help.bricsys.com/en-us/document/bricscad-bim/modeling-techniques/creating-a-custom-window-or-door?version=V24&id=165079162054 You can download BricsCAD for free for 30 days - www.bricsys.com/bricscad-download, so perhaps you could see if the library works how you need it to first, and if you're having an issue then you can contact our support team directly - www.bricsys.com/en-gb/blog/3-steps-to-get-help-at-bricsys Hope this helps! :)
