Well poop...your souvlaki is the best I've ever had and I was hoping to try it because I miss Greek food and was so happy when I saw you've got it included. But no sound :( I hope you're keeping well!
Hi Craig! Long time no see... hahaha... Hope you and Jeremy are doing well... :) Yes, I was informed a little while ago that the sound did not come through, for some reason. I do have the original footage so will be re-editing it and uploading but life has been a bit hectic and I haven't had a chance... I will let you know when the corrected video is uploaded... Take care and thanks for the kind words... :)
@@MomsGreekKitchen I hear you about life being hectic...I'm on sick leave from school (stupid getting old, and yes, you can say I told you so), so I'm doing last term's final papers now. Oh, and they're both grad school level so it's even more drawn out and boring than undergrad. Until then, my quest to find souvlaki in Central Alberta continues! I was thinking about trying your potatoes this weekend :)
@@dympulls sorry to hear you are not well... grad school sounds tough...but hopefully worth it in the end. For the souvlaki... which I will fix soon.. just cube your favourite meat, we prefer pork shoulder, but beef, chicken etc works exactly the same. Season with seasoned salt, black pepper, oregano, and garlic granules... you may wish to add a little olive oil and lemon juice, but not necessary. Mix the meat cubes with the spices and allow to marinate for at least 30 mins but overnight is best. You can skewer them before or after the marination time. Soak the skewers in water for 30 mins first to help prevent burning (doesn't really help in my opinion)... then grill to your liking... if you wish, mix olive oil, lemon juice and the same spices again, and use to baste. That's it... pretty simple, as some of the best food is... (grin) They would pair wonderfully with the potatoes and tsatziki if you like it... kali orexi (Greek for bon appetit... ;^) )
Hi Molly! Thank you VERY much for bringing this to my attention.... It was working fine when I posted it... hmmmm... I hope I still have the original footage so I can edit it again and upload.... thank you.... you are the first to comment on this video. I'll let you know as soon as I have it fixed. Thank you again...
@@radicalpotato666 HI Radical.... you are correct... and I am sorry. It seems I lost the intro... so I was going to reshoot the video but the weather here has not been all that good to get outside to grill them... I may just shoot an intro... and splice that in. You can just add a voiceover in case you don't want to shoot the video again.
