I am embarrassed to say this but I used to watch Steven crowder (god I am so ashamed and I’ve changed) and Jared was a VERY active co-host/participant in a lot of the crowder hate mongering. While I kinda feel bad for him having to go through this legal hellscape, he is FAR from innocent. He is just feeling the reality of working for a self obsessed asshole like Steven. While I hope he has changed, he was pretty awful in the show, just like Stevens little pet. Almost like Gaston and lefou.
Jared is still a POS. He still makes fun of LGBT people on his new channel.
So obvious. These idiotic right wing hate and fear mongering shows are designed to attract stupid people. No offense, I’m glad you wised up. But god damn… it’s pretty obvious. It’s designed to pander to fear and hate and it’s not very clever. Don’t over correct into idiotic far left extremism either. Just be reasonable man. Good luck.
Agreed - doesn't excuse the treatment he got, but we shouldn't hold him up as a good guy without evidence he's changed. The way he talks makes me think maybe he's mellowed out but he's still got this weird religious stuff going on which is sus

I mean, he is 100% transphobic still, the only thing of his online is a recent podcast where they talk about "the ties of Baphomet to trangenderism". I don't know why people would asume that being against Crowder means that he must not be a conservative anymore. Ben Shapiro and Candice Owens are also fighting Crowder, doesn't change their positions.
What Crowder is doing to him is gross and should absolutely be illegal. Considering how this guy was absolutely 100% with crowder on everything he said , INCLUDING talking about how illegal or exploitative contracts/ workplaces definitely do not exist , I have ZERO sympathy for this guy. None . He was a monster towards other people until he was victimized by a monster and now we’re supposed to feel sorry? Eff that 2 times. Let them fight!
I still don’t know how Crowder made it past talking to his pregnant girl the way He did. Like how does anyone follow him after the way he spoke and treated the mother of his children ? Can a crowder fan please tell me ?
What I imagine from attempting to see both sides. Probably lots of context missing. Even though he was being petty, presumably to make a point of how he perceived the pressure on him, he was pretty calm, seemed to be trying to set boundaries, & aired his grievances without shouting. I imagine the history is that he works long hours, has asked his wife to help out more with household chores (walk the dogs), & she pretty much said she will only contribute minimally because pregnant. Combination of not helping out much around the house, probably withholding sex, & Steven was fed up, overworked, over stressed, & had a bad moment.

@@TheGuardian_TM Sorry, but even in a sympathetic mindset, that's some heinous devil's advocacy. He's insisting she do something that's dangerous for a pregnant woman to do, handling animal waste. She's remaining calm and trying to placate him while setting boundaries. He's not yelling (in this clip at least, though the caption says he does later), but he's being so demeaning and swears at her. Commands are not boundaries. Not to mention _he's smoking around a pregnant woman,_ so it seems like he doesn't care about her and the babies' wellbeing.
Also, experiencing late-stage pregnancy with twins is a totally valid reason to do less labor and not be intimate. I imagine they make enough money to hire help, don't they?
@@THEDubbleHelixx I imagine this is the culmination of months/years of described behavior. The core of the discussion is him thinking his wife has no discipline. Having one disciplined, ambitious person and one non starter in a relationship is a recipe for failure.

My husband cared so much for my babies when i was pregnant. He would have been mad I even suggested handling anything that was could hurt our baby. Even when I suggested painting the nursery. He really questioned me and kept saying he could but I had to reassured it is safe.
What type of man smokes around their unborn babies or is mad their wife questioned if something is safe for thier baby.

I will say that what Jared went through was bad, but did none of Crowder's actions not indicate that he is a shitty person not above sexually harassing his staff, because everything he does is a giant red flag.
Have a friend who edited for Crowder. Seems like the boss man would pick on everybody and ask staff to nab news reports from other creators and use it as their own.
Not defending Crowder, but I personally know many individuals who work for online articles, and they claim that nearly everyone engages in such practices to some extent.
After watching a few videos covering this I just came to the conclusion anyone in this orbit is kinda garbage.

32:02 yes, they want their ex wives to be destitute to punish them for leaving, then take the kids and force the new wife to raise them. Thats what my son’s dad tried to do to us but I was able to live with my brother and go back to work. It was miserable for a while and he still doesn’t pay child support but life is better now. For any women in that position, it is possible to get out. You have people who love you, your family, your girlfriends-even if you haven’t spoken in a while, I promise they still love you and will want to help once they know how bad things are

Sounds like Jared and Crowder were crossing some lines and Jared's wife said hey you have a baby on the way stop dressing in drag with your boss and kissing him. Jared tried to say no and Steven wasn't hearing it. I think he named him not gay Jared sarcastically because as you can see it's actually Jared that goes up to Steven and kisses him in those videos. So yeah I don't doubt he treated Jared the same way he's treating Hillary. I don't doubt that Jared has internalized homophobia. And I think Steven was worried that not gay Jared was so popular and funny that he would compete with Crowder and start his own podcast. I think Steven knew Jared was actually religious whereas Steven just wants to debate and control people.
One is a true believer and one is just along for the ride. Seller whatever they need to to the weakest minds possible.

He does undercover work he talks to people from barbershops who are black and does a lot more than just sitting behind a video camera, and. Complaining. By the way, it’s not racist to realize that illegal immigration is wrong, and I’m also wondering how he is racist when he showed himself going to one of the popular black barbershops in sat down and talked for a whole day with the Black people. Even in this episode theyre doing a sponsored event for autism awareness. Im also involved with my community with labor organizing and a mentorship program for young adults.

Nah, its more complicated. It's ironic bc Jared would probably say oh well the employee signed it, tough luck. But, turns out this Jared dude is working with a leftist labor lawyer Matt Bruening and they filed a complaint with the national labor relations board to contest the overly-broad nature of the confidentiality agreement. The Majority Report has been doing great coverage of it and have discussed the complaint with the lawyer twice on their show recently.
