Baroque music to me has been like a sincere expression of kiss on the cheek from a loved one! Can simply bring one to tears and felt love and beauty...
Listening to Baroque while watching modern cars passing takes Baroque feeling away.
i know!! i felt bad making that comment but yes i agree!!!
Yep! I thought the same :/ but the music is great :)
Karine The Great Yes, what a shame. Could also be done in a US shopping center.
There is only one redeeming value in this performance: the violinist. Period.
These are very strong players, wonderfully subtle. Especially Kathy Schiano, the cellist, she knows so much about listening to the other players and producing the right tone and feeling with her bow.
Wonderful to hear these songs, if we focus we can return to the past, and imagine how it would be living at the time. Today we can hear this song at any time, and when we want. 200 years ago only Kings, Princes and rich people of the society of that time, had the opportunity to hear. The people in general, did not the slightest idea, nor ever dreamed of hearing it. In these past centuries classical music was a luxury.
I suppose there is nothing as sweet as listening to baroque music and dating the violinist and ending the evening on a sweet and sticky note.
I love the comment regarding the cars in the background and how easy it is to pass by the
sublime with no awareness. The musicians, instruments, and the music, seem to me to be
a sort of altar upon which the cars, people in them, and all of our too often rushed, armored, numb, blind lives are lifted to heaven - heaven's tender comprehension of suffering creatures, and heaven's rebirthing of creation.
back here after 9 years and the music is still great and am still listening to this. this used to be the music i listened to in my study playlist
The coughing is mandatory...it's in all of the "Best Of from The" recordings...They actually pay some people to cough in order that certain recordings cannot be sold....
Really enjoyed this....especially watching the cars go by as the sun set.....they had no idea what they were rushing past....
I think it is a marvellous idea playing this wonderful music showing at the same time a road traffic on the bottom. Sign of the times.
love the ironic juxtaposition of the hectic traffic flying by in the backdrop with the tranquility and organic grace of the musicians and their craft ... LOL. :)
The background cars shows that this type of music surpassed its era and will still continue till the end of time... coz its simply sublime. Amen ..
Special bravo to the violinist !!
It's good background music for studying for a regular exam in any topic. Peaceful, relaxing to reduce stress and blocks out other distractions. That's how it works for me.
I loved the Baroque Music and i am a Neo-Classical Metal Keyboardist and use the baroque music on my composition , Greetings from Chile Baroque Lovers.
Saw a video by a teacher giving hints on studying. He said never listen to music while studying unless it is Baroque. I put it to the test this afternoon and it works, I now at last understand legal discovery having studied it while listening to this music. Next I intend to listen to The Best of Baroque while trying to figure out the offside rule.
GRACIAS POR ESTE REMANSO DE PAZ QUE NOS DAN Y QUE TANTA FALTA NOS HACE EN ESTE AGITADO EXISTIR.
amazing harpsichord and other instruments. envy tunxis community college and civilians. bravo~~~ CT.
looking at the comments
i love how there is more than one language going on
that's so awesome
I recently started looking for classical music performances from Eastern Europe musicians. So far I've found a wonderful girls choir from Hungary and Christmas Carols from Rumania. And now this very nice violinist from Bulgaria. Since I grew up during the "Iron Curtain" era, there was so much that happened in Eastern Europe that we just didn't hear about. I'll look forward to more rewarding musical experiences.
simply sublime.
Absolutely delightful!
What a sweet melody of the violin!

Bach, One of the first and greatest of the greats in music. Beautiful, thanks for the upload.
I love the cars in the background! They make me wonder how many sublime and wonderful things I have driven right past in my time, not even knowing they were there.
Beautiful clear articulation by all the players on works I'd never heard before. Thank you!

Amazing. Journey of time in period barroque. Gold trio.
Very good!!!
This type of music (baroque / chamber) is for listening to, not watching (as fulfilling as watching a chess match ;->). I simply proceed with my work on another 'page', and enjoy the music. and the background atmosphere of relaxation it brings.
Enjoyable sound effects. Thanks for sharing.
This is my go-to video for relaxing and concentrating! Love it!
Studying listening to baroque music. It helps concentrating.
I really like the traffic behind the gig! It is beautiful: baroque and traffic!

Very nice. Being European, one doesn't really associate America with performing Baroque music. Always learning.

São Músicas que Descansam Nossa Alma!!! Abraços a Todos, do Brasil para o Mundo, abrAÇOS!!!
Quel bonheur d'entendre de la musique baroque sur un diapason à 440, avec des musiciens qui utilisent tous les modes de jeu disponibles, même un beau vibrato.
C'est vers là que doit aller la musique baroque ! !
Bravo aux musiciens !
Bellisimo !!! gracias por compartirlo
BUENA MUSICA BARROCA, BACH Y HANDEL MIS FAVORITOS. BIEN POR ESTE VIDEO......
I am amazed at how they are able to know what position to go to with no fret markers like a guitar especially with all the intricacies in this type playing. Seem it would be hard to learn a instrument like that. It seems it would be real easy to be sharp or flat. This sounds great!
Beautiful Air and Variations in E!
i love it
... so magic ... !
I loved the performance, and that arrangement of Oblivion, by Piazzolla, was superb! Thumbs up :)
Bravooo!!! impecable
