@Ham Radio Productions Gentleman! . Thanks for sharing your knowledge and expertise with us hams. The Mrs be like "huh?" The vacant look while they pretend they know what we are talking about when we get really technical. lol
Hey Ray, you just named it"what da Heck is going on here...?" You are definitely my Hero if it comes to climbing Towers to get Antennas instelled. You are really skilled and knowing what you doing to work as safety as possible. My big Respect goes out to you. Have a prosperous and healthy New Year and hopefully we going to see you playing some Radio soon. 73 de Uncle Günter across the Pond 💯👍🙋♂
thank you for the reply Ray. My dream would be to run a tower like this. Would you ever consider doing any work in Florida? If not, do you have anyone you can recommend down this way. I love watching your videos, man, really love your passion and would love to meet you someday!
Howdy! Just got done watching five or six of your videos. It’s quite refreshing to see new videos coming online of ham radio tower related work. However, it’s driving me crazy that y’all just yelled at each other. What’s the thought with that? Even MURS would suffice, it’s unlicensed and seems like it would be a lot safer versus just yelling at the person driving the pickup truck that’s connected to the tower that you’re strapped to. Regardless, great videos and I look forward to the upcoming ones!
Thank you.
Living the dream Ray! Keep up the great videos 👍
Thank you! Appreciate the follow!

Thanks Gunter! Appreciate the kind words! :)
Beautiful view Ray. Living the dream! Absolutely PRIME location for radio!
Couldn't agree more!
Would be great to see how you replaced the rotator without removing the antennas :)
I will do a video on it!
Nice set up... thanks for sharing..
Thanks for watching!
1st rule of ham radio... ALL ANTENNA WORK TO BE DONE IN COLD DEAD OF WINTER SNOW STORMS AND SLEET AND ICE... haahahahahahaha
Agree!
I know this is probably a stupid question but how do you get the coax from those towers that are so far away to the house?
Long runs under ground! Low loss COAX, usually 7/8 or 1 5/8 Hardline

Ive been doing it this way for 20 years. I need my hands free, the VOX just trips constantly.
@@Ray-W2RE Fair enough, you’re the one on the tower, not me!
If a ham rents that location from you do they get access to you radio room in the house?
No. It’s remote access only. Just join www.RemoteHamRadio.com and get access that way!
This channel instantly became my favorite, not just for its entertaining content but also because of Ray’s amazing personality.
Keep it up, Ray!
I appreciate that. Thanks, Ray W2RE
Second that!
