It's one thing to look up the lyrics and just read them, but it's a totally different thing to hear how the artist is using his voice to convey the lyrics.

I have known Bel Canto since I was born. Let's make one thing clear: Dimash is not only good in this or that field, in this or that aspect of singing, Dimash is the sound field, Dimash is a totality. His "love is like a dream"(russian) and "SOS" French were two of my favorite songs; but when I heard him do those two songs, I knew Ii had found someone great, and since he did those two, no singer has tried to do either one anymore. And yes every single performance you do(and there are many of them) you will be blown away.
His presence is absolutely powerful and unwavering on stage, compared by some to a god of music, sometimes to a prince or a king, the energy he absorbs from the Universe, how

Born in May 1994, Dimash is from Kazakhstan, sings in multiple genres, registers and languages, plays several musical instruments, can act, model, is studying for a PhD, and is about to embark on a directing internship at the New York Film Academy. He is a phenomenon - but at the same time, one of the most humble, deep-thinking, funny, hard-working and kind people you could ever hope to meet!
As you guessed, this was from a digital concert during the pandemic - no audience, but the online viewers were treated to 17 songs of stellar quality ..

It was the performance that initiated his collaboration with the great Ukrainian-Russian composer and music mogul of Igor Krutoy, which brought him additional fame after winning the hearts of billions of Chinese by performing this song (SOS) at a competition for professional singers. Dimash is from Kazakhstan, and he sings in, I want to say 13 different languages, including Chinese. He has an 8 Octave range, it could be higher now as that was the info from a year ago. He was Opera trained and both his parents sing. He swims underwater daily to help strengthen and expand his lungs and performed a 26-sec run, all over the scales in one breath during the song Sinful Passion. He also works extremely hard for world peace, he's kind, considerate, and polite and has an enormous base of fans, worldwide who address themselves as Dimash's "Dears" Every concert has sold out, including NY & I intend to be the next concert that is somewhat close to me :)
Also, he recently released the most expensive music video, 13 mins long, which you must watch at some point.

Thank you for your great and authentic reaction to Dimash. And yes, you are right. He sang this song on his digital concert in January 2021 during the pandemic. He had to cancel his tour and did this concert for his Dears/fans. That’s why there was no audiende to be seen or heard.
Dimash is from Kazakhstan and believe me, you’ve seen nothing at all. In my opinion you have discovered the best singer in the world. He has perfect pitch and he currently has a vocal range of 7,7 octaves (vocal fry C1(B0) - whistle D8 off the piano) At least what he has shown us so far. He plays several instruments like piano, dombra (a kazach instrument), drums, marimba and more. He has classical as well as contemporary vocal training and sings in different genres from opera to pop, jazz, Kazakh folk, ballads and he even raps a bit. And often he skillfully mixes several genres in one song. And meanwhile in more than 10 languages. The latest songs (from Tokyo Jazz Festival in November 2021) are Ikanaide in Japanese and at his concert in Almaty on September 23, 2022 he sang a new song in Spanish (about 7 languages in one concert).
But many of my favorite songs are in his native tongue. He is a nice, respectful and humble person. He respects people regardless of their original, religion or profession. He truly loves his homeland Kazakhstan and his people with all his heart and always shows it with pride in many of his songs, concerts and interviews. During his concerts in Dubai, Düsseldorf and Prague in 2022, before he performed his song War And Peace, he told the audience he loves all people in every country. And I absolutely believe this. His concert in September 23, 2022 was amazing.

The gentleman at the end you see standing and clapping is the famous Russian/Ukrainian composer, producer and songwriter Igor Krutoy. He has come out of retirement to work with Dimash. True masterpieces were created. He writes songs that only Dimash could sing with his vocal range, such as Olimpico, Stranger or Ave Maria. You’ll often see him accompanying Dimash on the piano. The two have no contract. Their cooperation is based more on mutual trust. It’s more like a father/son relationship. These last three songs are mind-blowing and will leave you speechless. I promise.

I have been a singer all my life and even though I'm now 81, I've never seen or heard anyone close to his talent. When I was young I was very impressed by a woman singer from Peru, Yma Sumac who had a 5 octave range, but Dimash eclipses her in every way. Much love from the Philippines.

Добро пожаловать в мир дорогих в мир Димаша. Когда я впервые услышал Димаша с песней Любовь уставших лебедей,,. Пожелел что пропустил года два. Но тут удивительно что только познают. Это песня интереснее с историей песни и историей Грегори Леморшаль, историей как реагировал Димаш на смерт Грегори. У Димаша нет простых бессмысленных дешёвых песен. Все песни только шедевры даже кавер песни. Опера 2 Витаса пел только раз и запретили ему петь. Так как он спел лучше. Сам писал песню ВОЙНА И МИР на слова китайского поэта. История одного неба тут больно мне каждый раз смотреть но смотрю в слезах. С Димашем узнал Игоря Яковлевича, Ларочку Фабиан, Сеси Довер из Барселоны и много других интересных знаменитостей. Первое выступления на Айм Сингер. Реакция Сэнди Лэм и других участников это самое искренние оценки. Димаш каждый раз одну и туже песню поет с новыми красками. Если только узнали то ли ещё будет. Congratulations, you just witnessed the greatest vocalist alive. He’s from Kazakhstan, sings in 15 different languages (speaks Kazakh and Russian fluently, some English, and a little Mandarin). He plays 8 musical instruments and is currently working on his PhD in musicology (has a Masters in composition). He’s been training since the age of 5, has a 7 octave 2 semi-tone range, has absolute pitch, and is an amazingly humble man. His mother is an opera singer and his father is a singer and producer. He sings every genre (even raps) He has many recent performances, but I would highly recommend "Sinful Passion" 2018, "Stranger" 2021,"Olimpico" 2019 link on Igor Krutoy's (composer that came out of retirement to work with Dimash) TH-cam channel, "Adagio" from The Singer 2017, "Ikanaide" 2021 Tokyo Jazz Festival, and "Ave Maria" 2021 at New Wave. After digesting those performances, I can't stress enough my recommendation for his most recent song and music video (mini movie) the artistic masterpiece "The Story of One Sky" that he wrote the screenplay for and spent 3 years composing the music for, which displays a lot of his range (not all) and soooo many vocal techniques and dynamics, including sub harmonics, whistle register, bass, tenor, baritone, classical, jazz, pop, rock and unreal metal screams....and unbelievable dramatic acting.
