  • It's the update you've been waiting for - were my results using The Flasher 2.0 from Nood permanent or did my hair grow back? I used The Flasher 2.0 from Nood as instructed for 8 weeks, and then I stopped using it for a month and a half during the holidays, and now I'm back to show you if the results were permanent or if the hair grew back! Thanks for watching this update!

    I’ve had my armpits professionally lasered - it hurts 100x worse than this device (bc they obviously use a much stronger laser professionally) which makes me believe that using this will take several more sessions and more time. I have had 9 sessions done professionally on my underarms (spaced 6-8 weeks apart) and while with each session the hair grew slower and thinner, I still do have some patches that grow very slowly.
    I find it strange that the device worked better on your legs than your bikini/underarms bc typically thicker & darker hair actually has a better result because there is more contrast that the laser can attach to.
    I bought this device for my legs with the expectation that it would take several more sessions than what I’ve had done professionally to see any lasting result - I’ve been using it for 3 months now and I think I am starting to notice some change but I am wondering if it is only because the laser is destroying the hair follicles temporarily until they are able to grow back (the reason you wait 6 weeks in between professional laser appointments- because that is about how long it takes for hair follicles to repair themselves and grow normally again).

    Per the instructions, maintenance to make it permanent is 1-2x a month for a year or more, no?
    Its like after braces, if you just take them off your body just goes back, which is why people wear retainers for years after they get their braces off. Not as drastic as the braces, but necessary till your body stops trying to go back to how it was.

    Just watched your video about Jovs and save me a lot of money. So Thank you for that. Getting everyday emails from them offering discounts got me thinking and starting searching info and that’s how I found your video.
    I’m considering buying an ipl device, read a lot about it, even scientific research and even with 80 J/cm2 the results after 3 months were 30% less hair, in 2001. So with common 5-6 J/cm2 on home devices it’s gonna be long road. I’ve got my mind on Philips or Braun, not sure yet. And they explain after a few months of regular treatments followed with several top-up sessions once a month or twice then will appear bald patches that will become bigger. So if high brands say it takes that long….you can imagine for fake products…
    I should mention that I’m having some hormonal imbalance and there are places where I almost don’t have hair but the bikini area is multiple hairs in one follicle which is horrible.
    In December I have birthday so I might make myself an early present 😊
    In my experience when it comes to expensive devices it’s either the best or nothing at all 😂

    Hair grows in different cycles. Since you age a multitudinous amount of hair follicles in any one given area, each follicle is in a different cycle. The is one one area of the cycle where this type of procedure works during the cycle of growth. This is why it is recommended to use this for an extended amount of time. 2 weeks is NOT near long enough to see a difference!

  • @GinTemoshawsky
    @GinTemoshawsky ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I don't know why they say permanent results at 8 weeks because the nature of hair follicles makes it impossible for any hair removal technique to achieve that in less than a year. Of course there will be fresh hair growth if anyone stops after only 8 weeks. Without further treatment, it'll soon look like the first phase never happened. I'm at 7 weeks and wondering if I should continue using it on the same schedule for longer than 8 weeks or just give up and return it. I've emailed them about it.

    • @KathySanthouse
      @KathySanthouse  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That is tricky cause you basically have to decide if you think it’s going to work and not return it or decide if it’s not worth the risk.
