    Coriander leaves - 1/2bunch
    Toor dhal - 1ladle
    Tamarind - small gooseberry size
    Turmeric powder - 1/4tsp
    Hing - 1/4tsp
    Salt to taste
    Roast and grind
    Oil - 1/4tsp
    Coriander seeds - 2tsp
    Red chilly - 7nos.
    Coconut - 1cup
    Seasoning
    Oil - 1tsp
    Mustard seed - 1/4tsp
    Urad dhal - 1/4tsp
    Channa dhal - 1/4tsp
    Red chilly - 1no.

    Having meal at morning is the traditional way of following. Even our ancestors used to follow.. most of them earlier they were not having food outside... this is also a reason

    Yes. 👍🏻 The last point is very valid. Your breakfast has to be really heavy. So it’s better to have full meals in the morning. And as you said it’s a lot convenient if you finish cooking full meals in the morning. And as you said you can use left over sambar or anything for your tiffin. 👍🏻

    In my moms house we used to eat food at 9 am only and afternoon 2.30 was tiffen . But after marriage it’s changed. I feel eating in the morning is definitely better and healthy . Now I feel my work never ends

    During my childhood, we had many TAMIL brahmin neighbours and friends.All of them had rice and curries in the morning and tiffin which meant idli / dosa / vada in the afternoon.This was the routine followed by all the tamil brahmin families.
