Hey Wali, it depends on the position you are applying for. CELTA is considered a more advanced certification, but for most of the jobs, TEFL/TESOL should be enough. Check certification programs at teach.fm teach.fm/en/certification/
Usually, a university degree is not required to teach in Turkey and TEFL/CELTA certification + some prior teaching experience should be enough to apply.
@@teachfmjobs Thanks Any language schools you would recommend? I would like to live in southern turkey like Antalya or adana. Any opportunities there in southern turkey?
@@theconfessionsofahebrewisr2975 We don't recruit for these locations right now, but I'm sure the best way is to reach out to schools directly. Also, we can't recommend taking a teaching position anywhere with tourist or business visa
I want to teach English in Turkey, but am wondering...can I just go there and find a job and then get my papers and stuff like that, or do I need a job before I go?
We wouldn't recommend you going without a secured position, especially now when schools are slowly coming back from being fully online. At least try to talk to schools first and see what can they offer.
Hello, very helpful video dear thanks for the info.So if i come on tourist visa is it a must i exit?and where do i exit to coz i have been working in china i used to exit enter hongkong and back to china.how about Istanbul?

Great video. Are there COVID-19 vaccine requirements for teachers at these language schools currently that you know of?
Thank you for the video. Is it better to get a CELTA certification than a TEFL/TESOL?

Hello,
Very helpful video, thanks. Question... just to clarify, do you need a degree to work at language schools? Is a TEFL or CELTA good enough?
