  • Here I play a great Scottish hornpipe from the old Jacobite song Johnnie Cope. The song was written by a Scottish poet of the name Adam Skirving, while the tune is of anonymous origin. At some point the tune migrated to Ireland where it was significantly expanded from its original form into the six-part piece that I play here.
