- There are quite a few factions on penacony from the IPC to the stellaron hunters to even the remembrance and each of them has their own goals they are looking to achieve. In this video, im going to discuss what some of those factions endgoals might look like beyond penacony 2.0.
In this video ill be focusing on the IPC and aventurine as well as the stellaron hunters. Now of course we dont yet know what will happen in star rail 2.1 and beyond so this will largely be a speculation video. Some of the things I cover might happen or it might turn out to be completely different so keep that in mind. So what exactly are the endgoals of each of the factions on Penacony?
Some part of this video comes from the actual lore while others may be speculation on my part as we currently do not know the full story. As such take it with a grain of salt as the point of this video is just a deeper dive into Honkai Star Rail lore.

Seems to be a pretty easy bet that the Watchmaker's Legacy is a Stellaron or some effect of a Stellaron. So that would explain why the Stellaron Hunters are here, and probably also why TB can see Clockie and nobody else can.
Misha can tho, one of his voice lines confirms that he can see him

Thats pretty much my guess as well, at the very least the stellaron is tied to the watchmaker in some way

I've seen this sentiment shared too many times, Sparkle did NOT kill Robin OR Firefly, or at least, it's confirmed she didn't kill Firefly, all she did was tell the Trailblazer to be weary of Firefly (most likely because of the Stellaron Hunter's and Sam as a whole) and sent us to the real dreamscape, she seemingly had no intention of killing anything, nor did she think we couldn't defeat the meme (it's assumed Sampo told Sparkle about what we did in Belobog and she got super excited), so again, I doubt she wanted to kill Firefly or even forced it to happen
ALSO, for Robin I refuse to believe she died the same way as Firefly, her body lingered for too long and it seems like someone messed with her body to put her into the pool, I personally believe she faked her death or Sparkle witnessed it, although I'm unsure, but no matter what I refuse to believe Sparkle willingly killed 2 people (mostly because it doesn't make sense)

@@DanielDaAbadSukarno I wouldn't put it past one of the most foreboding figures in Penacony to lie to their guests, he clearly knew Sparkle was imitating Robin, and played into her being the role for a bit before pushing her away, it could quite literally be a red herring for those who are too close, although it could also backfire on them

We already know what the IPC wants…. When we first met Topaz and when Aventurine was first mentioned. He was picked to reclaim Penacony for the IPC. This was expressly stated out loud by Topaz.
If youre referring to the call between topaz and aventurine, he only mentions he is in pier point and that there is a major deal that would affect the department, when topaz asks why he chose to collaborate he only mentions penacony but no details on what the IPC want with it. Maybe im misremembering something else though but throughout that quest aventurine only appears at the end after topaz is demoted
Is the IPC gonna keep Penacony as a tourist planet or are they gonna shut it down and sell off the assets?

In a conversation with Dr. Ratio, we learn that Aventurine has a death sentence and getting Penacony back for the IPC is how he avoids it. He is trying to avoid execution.
Oh I missed that, explains what he wants then but raises another question. Does the IPC have a suicide squad of business developers
@@Maevix3142 Doubt it, I do think they leverage their authority to coerce skilled criminals to do their dirty work every once in a while and did the same to Aventurine.

Maybe the IPC wants the planet back because of how useful it is based on the side quest involving them and the Imaginary Tree?

I don't think so. The planet may be estabilished and running due to IPC interventions. Just look at those robots in Belobogs. They are created by IPC until Architects build barriers and temporarily cut ties with IPC. Those robots can't be well control cause it is created by IPC.
So for Penacony, IPC invested money into the planets. Just like collaboration with Intellegensia guild. It is a win-win solution to keep IPC running their business. Due to Stellaron crisis, their contract temporarily hidden but not forgotten.
It is like you owned money to Bank. Ofc they want the money back and send their officers to get the loan back. Penacony owned IPC something that we still not know. But if they send their representative, it means the loan has been overdue and must be return at all cost. There is nothing free. The business must be running and the workers must be paid.

It just occurred to me... Mr. Sunday and Robin are obviously cherubim angels. The Family is like a church congregation, prioritizing unity and shared doctrine. But more importantly, Xipe looks like a seraphim angel, with the multiple faces they have...
It all makes sense now!
Based on the designs of the halos, I feel like their species might have originated from Ena, the Order who Xipe assimilated. So I’m expecting to hear some background on that dynamic in the future when we interact a bit more with Mister Sunday.
The family looks like a Cult (sorry) to me. They reminds me with scientology. Idk that is just my opinion. 😅
It is ironic. Aven still a prisoneer and send to former prison planet for IPC. He choose to work for IPC instead join the Masked Fools despite got Tavern invitation. When Dr Ratio being straight to the point, he become defensive and try to look cool. But when the plaster's head man quickly leave the room, aven's face look so sad. It is definetly what Acheron said. When a gambler's stuff being taken away, he got no choice but to do highly risk actions and do anything to win.
Maybe sigonians conduct many terrible things and held hostage in Penacony. Until Stellaron come and change the whole planet into a wholesome place to stay. Aven might be a gambler, but it is simply an addiction that may cause by his dark past. He even said prefer to live in luxury than stay gloomy. I also think he can't do it alone. Yes, he is senior manager but recover the loans happens for years will be too much. Topaz also said why not send higher rank officer instead aven. Idk why he got that order, but maybe Dr Ratio is right. It is like a death sentence maybe they know aven can't do anything. I wish IPC can send more workers to Penacony. Aven against The Family kinda unbalance power. What is IPC higher ups thinking about aven? Do they really think aven can win? He might be familiar with the place but he is just one guy. Bloodhound family watched all over the place. I am sure he will be defeated.
Thats an interesting possibility, that aventurine was sent here by the IPC fully knowing he wont succeed. I did get some vibes from him that hes not really working for the IPC of his own volition and might have been forcibly drafted into their company kinda like Topaz after he planet got absorbed as an asset. So I do he has a goal seperate from the IPC but likely cant be too open about it
Well, it's already pretty straightforward, and easy to predict what both the IPC, and Stellaron Hunters main objectives are on Penacony. Stellaron Hunters' main goal has always been the same as always throughout, help the Nameless Trailblazer succeed in following Elio's script. As for the IPC, reclaim Penacony back from The Family, by any means necessary. The only thing I'm more curious, and interested in is what role do the OTHER factions that were invited to the Charmony Festival play in all of this. If anything, it's not gonna be some friendly get-together where everyone become, "friends", with each other.
More likely it will make a big conflict between each other's factions. But I would say that the Family might use the factional conflict as a way to protect itself, like bringing one of them into conflict with the IPC.
I still believe that the Watchmaker is the real culprit behind all this chaos (even seemingly having hired Sparkle as Black Swan alludes to) while everyone else serves as both Red Herrings and potential pawns. Maybe the Watchmaker (possibly Misha's grandfather Mikhail) is trying to expose Pencaony for the sham that its is, or there is some more sinister intent behind their actions. I hope 2.1 expands Misha, Gallagher's and even Clockies role in the story. And of course I hope we get to see more Sam and even Topaz would be cool. Maybe if she's there she'll try to protect the Trailblazer from any double-crosses from Adventurine.
I have to wonder if Aventurine fails in achieving the IPC's goals (whether due to outside interference or overreaching while trying to achieve his own agenda) whether he would accept Sparkle's outstanding invitation to The Tavern. The thought of Aventurine as a Masked Fool is even more frightening than him as an IPC mover and shaker. At least the IPC likely reins him in a little.
I would be surprised if there is no stellaron in the midle of penacony. I mean something makes the dreamscapes.
Unfortunately, Aventurine being on Penacony for the purposes of things related to Sigonians, specifically his fellow Avgin people or Avgins who may have been prisoners at some point, is not a possibility due to the fact that they have been genocided. There are no more Avgin people on Sigonia, or on any other star. Aventurine is the last of his people. Dr. Ratio refers to the possibility of him failing in Penacony as a death sentence, so whatever he's working towards is definitely a final stand for him at the moment, incredibly high risk with high rewards it seems. What we do know specifically is that the IPC has something, or someone, in Penacony that they expect him to recover - something that used to belong to them but no longer does. Perhaps it's an incredibly important memory bubble, perhaps it's remnants of the Stellaron itself, either way we know that his plan was important enough for Black Swan - Emanator of Remembrance and one of the major Memokeepers for the Garden of Recollection, to help him further that goal - which leads me to believe that whatever the IPC is trying to recover there is tied to the Memoria, and that it would be for the long-term good in the long run.
There's also a possibility that nearly everyone on Penacony is dead aside from the visitors, and that the star died off long ago. Both the Reverie in Reality and the Reverie in the dream, as well as all the other layers, may actually be the dream itself and everyone drifts into it upon entering the area. The radio news broadcast before going to Penacony mentions Moonshield, a planet that died long ago, that the Garden of Recollection Memokeepers have succeeded in completely reconstructing and re-creating via all of the memory bubbles that they were able to preserve, and now the entire planet is able to be visited via the Garden of Recollection. That seems like a very odd and out-of-place thing to have in the broadcast if it weren't hinting at something to come either now or in the future, but who knows.
Overall there's a lot of pieces that aren't able to be clicked together yet for Penacony, aside from the fact that the place seems to be not just one giant trap, but a billion little traps set up by every single faction, trying to catch everyone else in them.

@@SupaSaiyanXP It’s part of his leaked character stories tab, coming in 2.1 when he’s playable. It’s a conversation that takes place after he becomes one of the Ten Stonehearts and receives the Aventurine Cornerstone, where he’s informed that he’s the “last lucky one”.
The real question is: what do WE want,
us knowing the conflict that might have happened after also knowing that some of the most dangerous organization will definitely attend the invitation is one big ball ahh of a move.
I believe the IPC are the true bad guys. Just look at what happened with topaz, they lowered her salary because we convinced her to not destroy belobog like they wanted. Now For penacony, Idk if aventurine is a villain, because he’s really suspicious. 🤔
The IPC are definitely not good people, though I just feel theyre corporate greed personified rather than pure villains. They seems to just be concerned with money and theres lore that mentions their board of directors constantly remind the higher ups that their allegiance is to the preservation and qlipoth. Now if qlipoth has some perverted view of preservation, for example protect everyone even against their wills or freedoms, that would be interesting and might make the IPC fanatics and seem more like villains

Either the definitive end or the end of an act, similar to Genshin from what I've heard, there are 7 story arcs before you finish the "main story" or whatever, but it doesn't limit the story from expanding, it might be similar for HSR, unless they wanna be nice to us and call it day after Nanook's battle

Fighting Nanook seems to be the eqeuivalent phase of Traveler going to Snezhnaya while thr final act should be after that which will be equivalent to go against the Celestia or Khaenriah, so Nanook shouldnt be the end of HSR
