I absolutely love this song too. It has a classic old school Christmas song feel to it, love the fade out at the end, love the lyrics, love Taylor's vocals, love the happy uplifting vibe - it's everything I'd want in a Christmas song. You should check out her performing it live at the Jingle Bell Ball she was fabulous! It was some of the best live vocals I've heard from her too - she nailed the high notes at the end & I was so proud 😁❤️ I really love this kind of style for her voice as well. From what I've heard especially recently I think more cinematic, musical theatrey, and jazzy kinds of songs suit her well and allow her to shine in a different way. She has a lot of range vocally and musically I hope she does more!

Great video! I’m always blown away by how talented you are at picking up and hearing all the instruments and complements of songs!
Even people who are not fans of Taylor in general or even at all recognize that she is a musical genius when it comes to melody and writing song lyrics. The song she wrote the lyrics for in the film CATS she wrote in roughly an hour or less while listening to the melody that Andrew Lloyd Weber wrote as he played it for her.

You need Nightwish - Ghost Love Score (official live in Wacken 2013) in your life. One of, if not the best female singers right now. They are a symphonic metal band fronted by Floor Jansen. Shes classically trained and utilizes 4 genres in this song(classical, theatre, pop, rock/rasp).

Wonderful job Nina, as always. Would you please consider reacting to another of Taylor's original Christmas songs: Christmases When You Were Mine? There are people like me who have lost a spouse to death or divorce and Christmas brings such sad memories, even of the good times. My wife left me after 41 years and as much as I might try to feel the holiday magic and good cheer, only Taylor's song strikes the right chords for me. Btw, she was 16 when she wrote CWYWM, but she managed to capture the grief that this 72 year old man feels this time of year.
