What a breathtaking hike! The serene landscapes of Rheinland-Pfalz are truly enchanting. Your video captured the essence of the journey beautifully. It's inspiring to see the simplicity and beauty of a village hike. Makes me want to explore Germany even more. Thanks for sharing this delightful experience! 🌲👟

The reason why you can hike everywhere in Germany, basically from north to south from west to east, is that every private area, whether lakes, forests or agricultural land, must be accessible to every citizen. Except, of course, certain nature or water protection areas. Also, the collection of mushrooms, berries or herbs is allowed in any forest, whether state or private. Except, of course, again plants that are under nature conservation. No one is allowed to close off their private land
Also the water quality in Germany it very good, I enjoyed it especially as a child but still today, just be able to swim in any river or lake without having to be afraid that someone will drive me away or that toxic things could be in the water.
The wildlife in Germany is also very diverse. Even if the animals are very shy and you hardly get to see them as a hiker, chamois , mouflons , wild cats , lynxes , ibex , wisente (bison) , foxes , beavers , wild boar , deer and roe deer , wolves , seals and whales etc live here. But also many immigrant animal species from North and South America. like raccoons or what is funny when South American ratites like Nandus run in flocks in the fields in north-east Germany

@@stewwolfe1 Thank you! We’re located about 30 KM from Kaiserslautern, very near Saarland. Fastnacht isn’t very big here, we celebrated in Köln this year, maybe Mainz next year. We’re very happy to know that you enjoy our channel. Thanks for watching.
