As a south African doctor if you have 5 years experiences you are eligible to work in Ireland provide you have complete the English test either Ietls or oet yoo can get their registration without writing their board exam, they will need the proof of internship and English.
Thank you so much for the info. Do you know of portals used to apply for registration and the board exam? I saw this one www.globalmedics.com/ireland/candidates/registration-and-relocation I need confirmation.
It’s nice to have an opinion from a health professional, it’s so hard to find South African health professionals who have moved across. I’m a physiotherapist also in the process of getting licensed and it is EXPENSIVE but apparently worth it
Hi Dr Ann. I love your videos! You motivate me every day to want to become a Doctor. I just got rejected from rewriting my Maths & Physics because of ‘irregularities’, since I already hold another degree. My heart is bleeding. Will try again next year. Keep up the good work!
Hello sis. I've met many South African doctors here. They typically work in rural areas. I believe they have to do that for the first 2 years in order to get a full license here in Canada.
Hey lovely doctor we learning so much on ur videos ,love u loads ke my diye .May we please have a video on corporate medicine, what it means, how to get there, what to study after MBCHB,how much is that side, which province would be suit corporate ……literally everything ❤️❤️
(I haven't verified this from a S.African doctor working in Canada) It appears for there's the approved jurisdiction pathway for doctors who have completed their 2year PG training in South Africa. In this pathway that would enable the doctors to work as a general practitioner (that is,not go into residency training),the only exam needed to pass is the MCCQE1 (that is,asides the processes involved in confirming documents, obtaining a licence).
The sad thing is as black pastors we encourage people to plant their seed or skillset in South Africa even when there is famine and say like Isaac they will reap a hundredfold but it seems as if this time this will not work for many other reasons
Really interested in going to work abroad,I'm just abit worried about the culture shock, the racial issues and the other thing is that i have children so if i move they move with me and still not sure if i want to specialize or not and how is the weather that side
hi Doc .. can u plz make a video in details how to get license and start a post graduate training in South Africa for foreigner... what are the requirements for them
Thank you so much for the video doc I know you said people arent willing to share details about their expiriences in Canada , however may I ask about the ball figure in terms of the salary per annum/ monthly after tax for post com serve/internship doctors and how their standard of living might affects a doctors ability to save and invest? May we please get more details regarding the financial side of working there I also heard that after working in Canada for five years one is eligible for citizenship? To your knowledge is that true? Lastly how is the working environment? Is there discrimination against african doctors? Do the working conditions allow for extracurricular activities such as travelling, building and sustaining a robust social life, romantic life etc
Hey Doc Hope you are well?😊 Thank you for being kind enough to help and not hold back info 🙏🏼 Can you please link down below your email address or contact details? I would like to enquirer on something please.

Hi Dr Ann.

Keep up the good work!
Have you tried going to a rewriting college, it may cost you but might be worth looking into
If the degree you hold is a Bsc, please consider this amazing program at Wits called GEMP. You start at 3rd year instead of 1st. Do some research 👍🏾
You are definitely that person for us.❤
Glad to know man ahhh😚🤗❤️
Although im not a Dr, i really find ur videos so interesting...
Ive begun to understand things from a Dr perspective
Glad to have shed a bit of light on the field🙏🏽🔆. Also learning as I'm going

Thanks for the heads up... I'll also ask around🙏🏽
Yeah, look at provinces like Alberta that are/have implemented different requirements.
Thanks doc...you are such a role model for us❤️❤️❤️
😚😚🤗❤️
Thank you so much for this information, you're appreciated ❤❤❤
Same in medical schools. People used to hide notes qabanga. Like they want to graduate alone I found that so silly!
Gatekeepers of information are the worst 😩

True... It's almost like the situation isn't getting better 😔
Thank you for sharing doc. Where’s the center for MCCQE in SA?
Wow what a nice clear video love you
Thanks my love 🤗❤️

Hi... very good question. Asked a doctor who actually worked there for 3 years and came back. Will relay his response soon soon
@@DrAnn_Healthhub thank you so much
So it's not certain that you will get a job after paying this amount of money? 😭😭😭😭😭😭
Did you say 19000 or 90000?
Which one is the best country to go to between Ireland or Canada?
I wish people who are there would comment...I also want to know
So you don't have to do community service in order for you to leave the country and work in Canada?
Nope
Thank you so much Doctor 🤍
Hi doctor...can you do more than one diploma at the same time
Hi.... Yes 👍🏽
Hectic … anyone who offers tuts for those exams atleast
so expensive
But maybe worth it in the long run?
You look like Dr Maseti from Frontier😅
Maybe we're sisters🤣🤣🤣
Your voice is too soft it is overpowered by the music.
I'll readjust thanks
