I can always remember it when I think of the 7th and it never fails to hold my full attention; every second. von Karajan is brilliant here as in most of his other recordings of Bruckner symphonies. I wonder if any of the more recent recordings have equaled his interpretations.

one of the best Scherzos ever written ... i never tough of it as being Tragic..opinions are fantastic!
